Does ANYONE know anything or have experiences with Lymphomas?

I've had an enlarged gland in my neck for a couple of months, and it's not going. Ive had some blood tests, and my body's not fighting any infection, and my Dr is investigating it further. He's sending me to hospital to have a biopsy on it. I'm also quite breathless (although am extrememly anxious) but also itch all over, and the lump was more tender after I'd drank a shandy. I'm beside myself with worry that I have a Lymphoma. Can anyone give me advice, experiences, or anything??

My mum had NHL - so I'm a bit of a bore on Lymphomas. At this stage I'd say worrying won't help or change the biopsy, so just enjoy yourself till then. Even if it is Lymphoma then it isn't the end of the world.

I hope it isn't though, but really - just stay positive until the event - fretting will make you feel so much worse.

I can't help but think it would be the end of the world, no just because I could die, but also that chemo could make me infertile. I know I dont know anythin yet, but Im just so petrified.

Don't be - it isn't the end of the world. Promise. Worrying about maybes is pointless - Until you know, you just don't know.

Stay positive - find something to obsess about to take your mind off it.

What are the good things you'll get by worrying?
