O/T - I hope my son never marries!!!

I am one of the 63336
On the south east news on the BBC today they have been showing a news report on a company who have produced knitted boobs so expectant mothers can learn how to attach a baby to the nipple.

My son, who is 10, asked if that was used instead of 'a woman's things' (to quote him!)

I explained that it was for people to learn how to attach a baby to which he replied 'can't they just use staples?'.

I pity whatever girl he marries!!! :8855:

Well in fairness to him, the early days of breastfeeding my two certainly felt like they were attached with staples!!!

Such innocence! Why doesn't it last?!

When my son was born he would not latch on. We had a lot of upset as my midwife visited morning and afternoon (I was in hospital after an emergency caesarean with an infected scar) and insisted I must be doing something wrong. He would latch on eventually etc etc. He never did, which apparently can be a sign of a form of dyspraxia which he is being assessed for now.

When we finally gave in and bottle fed him, he wolfed it down really quickly and then projectile vomited the whole lot of it OVER the top of the curtain in to the next cubicle.

I've just told him all this and he has rolled about on the floor with tears of laughter rolling down his cheeks.

His wife is going to HAVE to have a HUGE amount of patience!! She'll already have a grown up kid!

Such innocence, enjoy it will it lasts, they are not young for long.

Kids can say the funniest things :D

That is soo sweet!!!!
Long may he stay as innocent as he is now!!
