Cambridge Fiber

Again with the same topic, sorry for boring you but my CDC is far from helpful on this. As expected, not number 2-ing has set in.

We live in Sweden and for some bizarre reason, they do not sell the official fiber here! Is there a way I can buy it from some place else? From a CDC on here maybe? Is that ok? I'm getting a tad desperate and don't want to take the fibers from another diet -food replacement, VLCD as well called Alevo- in case it contains something nasty and takes me out of ketosis!

Cheers in advance if anyone knows or can help!

Maybe you can buy psyllium husks. In the Netherlands, you can buy them at your average drugstore. They're really horrible to swallow (we call them cat puke ;)), but they work wonderfully.

I use the psyllium husk tablets too, they come in capsule format but contain only psyllium husk, nothing else. I got mine from a health shop and they are just as easy to swallow as any other tablet.

i have tried the powder format but really can't get away with that, it's horrible.

Sounds lovely but when researched further it seems to have a few calories and some carbs too... won't that upset ketosis?

Calories 6
Total Carbohydrate 1.3 g
Dietary Fiber 1.1 g - 4% of daily recommended intake

i found the one's from holland and barrett have other things included other than psyllium husk.

I was told your it wasn't digestible so it shouldn't upset ketosis.

If you look at the link I put up it will show you what is put into it the tablets. They have a tiny amount of gelatine which won't affect ketosis and the rest are chemicals. I know that psyllium husks and psyllium husk tablets will have an amount of carbs but it is too tiny to have an effect on ketosis.
