aldi biofit yogurts - please read!

NOOOOOooooooOOOOOOoooooOOOOOOO

Since when?

Well, that's me gone from 0 syns most days, to 10-15 or more, just on these!

i know!!!!!!!!!! there's a list on SW site with free yogurt updates. they've gone from free to 2.5 sins per pot. mother f*****s!!!!!!!!!!! i've waited 10 years for a decent low fat vegetarian yogurt and now i can't flipping eat them.

That's the same for me, mod-karen! There's a real dearth of veggie yogurts in general, let alone SW free ones! I'm actually gutted.

To be honest though, i always thought they were too good to be free, theyre so thick and creamy tasting and all the wholegrains too, i guess if you've been losing with them til now, i cant see the harm in continuing, but if you noticed a slowing in your losses , maybe then use them less or syn them as they ought to be
I might be able to get some in our local aldi now theyre not free..LOL

Thats what i said on syn value thread, i totally agree, i don't go overboard on them anyway and iv'e used them since i started on SW and never noticed any difference with my losses. I'm going to keep having them occasionally. xxx

oh good grief. How can they say they're free then change their minds? Grrrr. I did wonder how they were free when they'd got wholegrains in, but hey ho.

They don't seem to have affected my weight losses and I go through 12 every week. As an experiment I'm not going to have any this week and see if there's a difference. If not, I'm going to carry on having them despite them now having syns!

...but nothing has changed, the recipe hasnt changed!

I say if they work for you and dont affect your weight, have them!

If you're looking for veggie friendly yoghurts that are free try Danone Activia Fat Free or Shape Feel Fuller for Longer.
Most flavours are veggie friendly except the strawberry ones which are coloured with cochineal. Both are on special offer in a number of stores at the moment.

I didn't know the Strawberry ones weren't free?

The ingredients may not have changed but the quantities of them may have. I think it's trial and error, continue as you were and if your losses slow down then maybe something in them has changed. If you are still losing at the same rate keep having them. If you are having 2 per day then that's only 5 Syns anyway

I dont have em often so I aint gna syn em!?
x

I love the Activia but had been avoiding the strawberry because it's 3.5 syns ... I didn't realise it was non-vegetarian too! Thank goodness I haven't had any.

Are we sure the recipe hasn't changed though?
I've noticed, just for the past few days, that the trays they come in have changed...brightly coloured piccies of fruit...so maybe the recipe is about to change too? I couldn't see them simply deciding to syn them, so surely SOMETHING must have changed in the make up of them?

Unless I'm wrong the Danone Activia Bio ones have syns but the Fat Free versions are syn free.
