Hi, there are a lot of people on this board who have had the surgery, I'm sure they will respond. Good luck.

Hi and welcome to minis, its a worrying time but we have all been through what your going through....sometimes it is easy for some people to get the approval and funding and for others its a major battle, my advise would be to keep on fighting for what you want, I was turned down at first but carried on and got my funding and I am now well on the way to reaching my goal weight...xx

hi and welcome to minis as charliegirl said many of have been there are going there and want to be there. If you want more infor some and have a look on the surgical thread you may get a bit more of response and maybe someone who has been throough it at the sam hospital or surgeon.

Hi Anne
:welcome: and good luck
On the link given by someone above you will find posts from a good few of us who are at the same stage as you - all inquisitive and panicky lol ! and might i say not very patiently awaiting our first appointments !!!
There's loads of helpful advice from others who have been through the process and if you can't find the info you need just ask, everyone is very helpful.
Let us know how you get on
Jayne:)

I too considered surgery, so right now I know how you feel. Get as much information as you can, try to keep as clear head as you can and ask as many questions as you can. You can do this, you just need to find a bit of courage and the world is your oyster. :)

Goodluck!
