Hey,

So I know we're not supposed to use our scales but I was too tempted, so far I've only lost 2 lbs this week which was disappointing!

However when I was getting dressed this morning my clothes felt so much looser it completely made me forget about the figures on the scales!! Still got 2 days to weigh in so looking forward to a good end to week 2 :)

Hey chick, when we don't lose much in lbs we sometimes lose in inches instead which is what sounds like has happened to you this week :) Well done and good luck for the WI!!

Thanks!! I'm just super excited :) I steadily put on weight most of last yr it's such a great feeling to have clothes feel loose for a change!

nice one slimmer 09, I am going to a ball next weekend and was going to buy a new dress for it, but just on the off chance put on a dress I had but not worn for years and years and put it on and wow it hung lovely so no forking out for a new dress cos I want to do lots of shopping once i've got down to target which hopefully will be around the summer or most of it by then. My lovely sis is going to lend me some lovely sandels and matching bag.....

Anyway well done I know that feeling its fabulous! I'll see if I can get a photo to upload after it.

I know how you feel babe. Prior to my first LT attempt I gained about 3 stone in a year - don't even know how!! And inbetween WI days I was constantly trying on clothes to see what fit now :) It becomes addictive but in a good way :)

I weigh most morning but I never weigh in the evenings - that's just asking for trouble because you will be heavier xx

Loulou well done on fitting into the dress. That must feel absolutely brill!! It's actually better than getting weighed and not seeing a difference in your size and shape, I think!

Haha, I also weigh myself daily, I have a chart keeping track of home scales and a seperate one for the pharmacist. But I only weigh at home in the mornings, that way it always goes down even if only by 0.1 pounds ;-) Also going to the pharmacist first thing in the morning on the way to work now so that I don't have excuses like water weight etc.

hey there, its great isn't it :) Its the best sign for knowing you are losing weight when things start hanging off you! lol

I am a sneaky weigher aswell. Though its not upset me so far.....today i have seen i have lost 13lbs and only have 1 more to lose to be rid of my 1st stone :)

WOOT! Feels great doesn't it? you must be well chuffed :D

well done, its the best feeling in the world when your clothes start to become looser and think of that new wardrobe for a bonus to celebrate!! Great news!!

When I started this I brought a clothes rail and emptied my wardrobe of all the clothes that I bulged too much in or couldn't even do up. Each week I would try them on and add them into my wardrobe and take out an item that had got too big...It feels great to see that rail virtually empty (I have saved some bigger clothes to remind me of what I was ). It has a purple dress hanging at the front of it now that I brought to get into just because I loved the colour soooo much. Should be in that in about 3 weeks I think :)

I too am a morning weigher. The pharmacy scales are a bit heavier than mine and I have to keep this in mind. It feels like a miracle watching the weight go down so quickly!
I wore a skirt today that had been too tight. What bliss! Helped me through a rough day!
Good luck x

I too am a sneaky weigher, and its lovely watching the numbers go lower. Well done on feeling your clothes getting looser, what a great feeling. Go girl.

:)Well done keep it up slimmer09. I cant be a sneaky weigher I threw my scales out!! Loulou I'm coming to get both sets of scales, naughty girl! XX

Well done on the looser clothes, fantastic feeling isn't it! Don't worry about it only being 2lb, that's still a bag of sugar off forever!!!!!

My scales are different to the chemists but I go by theirs coz they were the ones I started on and are more accurate.

I've just noticed, not long before you are no longer obese! I danced around everywhere when I dropped my BMI below 30 - got some strange looks but I didn't care!!! Lol!

x

Hey cuddlyfairy,

I know, super excited about going below 30 BMI!! I'm hoping that's gonna happen on Wednesday :)

The girls at work thought my face looked slimmer today, it was nice to hear though I think a hair cut I had over the weekend may have more to do with it than 1.5 weeks on LT ;-) But it was still great to hear, really got me motivated. Really looking forward to Wednesday, can't wait!!

OMG I've virtually done the same! Even down to the purple dress hanging on the front :8855: My dress was £5 from primark but I love it... size 12! Will love it even more when I can wear it
