Feeling a bit poo and i very much doubt its muscle as i have 100% fat on my body so it wouldnt work that quick.

Hi,
Have you been keeping a food diary to hand in to you C or have one on here so some of the other members can have a look for you? Others may be able to point out where you may be going wrong that you yourself have missed?

You could try cutting back on your syns and fill up on free food? Are you ending your meals when you are hungry rather than continuing until you are stuffed?

You may well be building your muscle up which weighs more than fat, so I wouldn't discount that completely.

Stick at it, it'll come good in the end x

You say going over your syns by 4, does that mean one day you went over by 4, so therefore having 19syns? Or going over everyday? If it's eveyday, that's an extra 28syns- 2days worth- a week. It words if you follow the plan to the letter, if you have extra syns or healthy extras it will not.
Try snacking on free foods, and keep your syns for late evening and use them on something you won't binge on. I like to do this, and have w.w desssert at 9.5syns, maybe with chopped banana and apple. It's lush! xxx

I find it hard to use all my syns with all the other food available yet alone going over budget, try not having more than 5 syns a day and see what difference that makes

here are my foods for the last week ?

Sat - working nights
Bfast - jacket with beans and cheese (hex b)
Lunch - Pasta and sauce

Sunday -
Bfast - Roast with gravy (4 syns)
Lunch - pasta and sauce

Monday - off plan (opps)

Tuesday - x2 weetabix (hex b) and (hex a)
jacket with salad and cottage cheese
pasta and home made sauce with cheese (hex b)

Wed - x2 weetabix (hex b) and (hex a)
jacket with beans and cheese (hex a)
sheperds pie with meat (hex b) and mix (4 syns?)
x6 toffifee 15 syns ops

Been gym - Mon/tues/thurs - 4mins walk 1 min run for 20 mins
cross trainer 5 mins (i am unfit lol)
arm and stomach exercise.

I know i went over a few days but seriously i have upped the anti by going to the gym so even to stay the same i would be happy with!

I would just stick to 10 syns per day and do the plan to the letter. My consultant says we should have between 5 and 15 but if our weightloss slows or stops we should cut back to 10 syns. She normally recommends we go back to basics in this situation too, like not eat so much processed foods, hope this helps xx

The day you went off plan could be the reason.

How off plan did you go? How many extra syns could have been consumed that day? These are things you may have to take into consideration.

It's great that you're going to the gym but a day off plan and those extra syns are probably the reason. Like others have suggested, try sticking to the plan to the letter and have a go at cutting back on your syns and try and use more free foods.

Unless you stick to the plan to the letter you can't really expect to lose week in week out. We may be lucky on the odd week that we are a bit naughty but more often than not it does come and bite you on the bum.

Stick at it missus!! And good luck.

The day off the plan i didnt not stick to it 100% i just didnt write it down so may have had 2 extra as and 3 extra b;s?
Ok from this day forth for the next week i shall stick to it to the letter.
I need to get as small as poss for my wedding dress fitting on 31st anyway!

Will my gym workouts boost my weight loss do you think?

That accounts to 30 extra syns.

I'd keep at the gym and keep to the plan. Before you know it the weight will fall off.

Have you thought of making a food diary here?

Maybe try adding more fresh fruit and veg to your diet? And make sure you're drinking enough water.

Your stamina at the gym will increase a lot quicker than you may think. The cross trainer used to be my nemesis. I could only stay on it for a few minutes and then give up. Then I started bringing in my own music and focussed on that. I remember the day I actually stayed on for half an hour. I was so chuffed with myself!

I could but I work odd hours (12 hour shifts) and sometimes nights! so its kind of hard to get online every day? I always start one but then dont carry it on as i just dont get the time but i do write it in a diary at home

I understand. You could always update your online diary less regularly though and it would allow others to have a peek and keep you on track. Just an idea but I completely understand if you don't fancy it. My OH has just ended 12 hour shifts (nights and days) after 8 years, so I know how hard it can be.

I must admit i am starting to find it easier already! I am not getting AS puffed out on the minute run!

Although I had to stop at 15 mins today as my shins were killing me!!

Yea i may do. I'll see how i go.
What did your OH do? I work for the london ambulance as an EMD (basically when you dial 999 i stay on the line helping people or delivering babies :) my fav and help or give advice etc) xx

try swoping u b choices so not just bread and potato...up the fruit and veg.....try goin totally red for a week.....as pasta rice can make u bloat......lookin at your menu, your eatin the same every day.....baked spud beans, u need to try different things........and try givin the cheese a miss.......shake thing up a bit to get the weight movin again........get out of the food rut your in..............good luck

I was going to say something similar to janie, you seem to be having a lot of the same foods. You can give your body a bit of a shock by eating something different. Why not pre-cook a bacon omelette before you go on your nightshift and take a load of salad with it? would you be able to nuke your omelette to heat it up while at work? I know shift workers often find it difficult but there are workarounds. I'd say throw a couple of red days in when you can just so your body doesn't get used to a particular kind of food. Good luck.. it will come off :D

I am not tooooooooooo keen on meat thats the thing.
I may try an extra easy so I can at least have my potatoes etc lol.
Need to get paid first before i can eat meat as we dont tend to keep it in .
