Sorry for the essay, but please read through this!
Okay, so I joined Slimming World today! Not for the first time, I've previously joined, lost a lot of weight, left and let it slowly creep back on.
This Saturday has been planned out for ages, I'm off downtown with some friends to celebrate two birthdays. Unfortunately, alcohol is really high in Syn-Value.
I'm most probably going to be drinking Vodka & Red Bull because I'm skint and it's the cheapest drink on offer (£1.50 per glass!) I already know Vodka is around 4.0 Syns per 35ml Serving, I plan to save my Syns from today & friday to compensate. However - would anyone be able to tell me how many Syns a glass of Red Bull would be? I'm unsure the exact measure of the serving, however they come in half pint glasses, along with the 35ml of Vodka. Any estimates on how much a whole Vodka & Red Bull would be in Syn Value?
Another thing is, this is my first week & I know people often lose a lot of weight on their first week. I lost 8 pounds the first week I ever joined! Do you think this night out will jeaprodise me losing a lot of weight this week? I'm not going to be going overboard and I am a lightweight when it comes to Alcohol so I won't be consuming outrageous amounts!
I'm worried about starting my Slimming World journey off with a really rubbish loss! But I don't want to sacrafice my night out, otherwise I'll be letting a lot of people down!
So in short;
a) How many Syn's do you think will be in a glass of Vodka & Red Bull?
b) Will this effect my weight loss drastically?
