Why are weekends so hard???

*Karen*

Has Wobbly Bits
I've SSd 100% all week and what happens today..my niece's bday party, that's what. Admittedly I tried and tried not to pick something up but I wasn't strong enough. I had about 8 squares of cheese and 2 chicken wings! I know there are no carbs there but then came the green and blacks....I had 3 of those mini bar things.

And now I feel like sh!t. Why is it so easy during the week and so hard at weekends goddamit!

because we are much more social creatures on the weekend. i have had to beg off going to a party and have hidden at home. i did overeat some chicken last night but other than that i've remained in the clear.... roll on next week!!

I agree...the weekends r murder, I try to keep to it as much as possible, but i do pick an a bit of chicken. Not to bad haha.

Hi I know it is so difficult - I did a post a couple of weeks ago on how to curb a craving.

There is a Paul McKenna technique I have been using which might help - don't know just try and keep focussed and think of the weekly weight losses. I have done this too many times - but this time I want to stay focussed.

Good luck and don't beat yourself up - move on being positive

It takes time but you will change and weekends will no longer be so hard...

I use to find the weekends pure torture and it was mainly because my weekends were associated with shopping for food and goodies and going out to eat and it took my mind a long time to separate over indulgence and just enjoying the weekends with a new mind set.

I no longer dread them like I once did whilst dieting.

don't worry hun, just drink lots of water and get right back on track. Remember how bad you feel now and it will stop you doing the same thing another time. x

Thanks for your replies everyone. I'm back on track now and have put the blip behind me.

I had my first weigh in today and lost 6lbs but can't help but feel it would've been more had I not made the mistake I did.

Anyway, next time I want something to eat I'm going to stop and ask myself if I really want to eat a bit of [insert whatever it is!] more than I want to be slim! I'm positive the answer will always be NO!

Happy Monday everyone
