Food Packs???

Hey,

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems eating all the foodpacks each day due to how they taste.

Im currently on day seven with the first weigh in tomorrow, and the last couple of days have only been taking 1 & half of my two foodpacks due to struggling to stomach them especially with the chicken soup making me feel ill. I'm wondering if it would have anything to do with the soya in them?

Also will it affect my weightloss if i only have three quaters of my food packs, as im not hungary and can cope fine without.

all your thoughts would be much appreciated.

I think you should really be using it all if you can as they supply all your daily vits and minerals, so you wont be getting what your body needs if you dont. I would ask your chemist if the male one contain anything different to the female, as you could change to female lipo but i think you would then be on 4 a day......sorry i couldn't be more help!
Good luck
Amanda xx

I took the chicken packs back as they made me feel so sick.
When you go tomorrow (same weigh in as me!) only ask for the ones that you actually like (I use the term 'like' in a very loose manner!).
I'll be asking for chocolate, with a few strawberry. Lol!
Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow! Hope we both have big losses!

If you're struggling with the chicken soup perhaps take your sachets back to the pharmacy and swap them for a flavour that you like a bit better.

You are supposed to consume the entire of your daily allowance of the sachets per day. Due to the fact that they are the only nutrition we are allowed and they are so carefully measured out you need to be drinking all of your 'meals' because otherwise you are missing out on vital vitamins and minerals. It might not seem like a big deal but it is. LT HQ will tell you the same and so does the LT video.

I don't know how you take your shakes but personally I find them easier to take if they are watered down a LOT. I know it gives you more to drink but if they're thinner personally I find them nicer :)

Trial and error may be your friend here. Good luck.

best to consume them all otherwise your body goes into stravation mode...you will get used to them and your taste buds will change soon. I can't stomach the chicken soup but i understand some peps add pepper to them to make it a little tasty. Stick with it, go for your weigh in and then see how you feel next week....I was climbing walls on day 5/6 and felt really shattered and everyone at work noticed that i was glum and down in the dumps..i sent them all a text on Saturday telling them of my weight loss and one texted back - "phew, thank god for that...you'll be in a better mood on Monday, then!!":8855:

Yea i thought i need to make sure i have them all, guess ill be forcing the last bit down :-(
Glad im not the only one who doesnt like the chicken soup :)

What are the flapjacks like? im expecting them to be not that great!
how much do you all pay roughly for lipotrim, im jus wondering if there is large price differences from pharmacy to pharmacy?

Thanks

I pay £36 per week for my lipotrim, female sachets.

On my first day I hated the drinks and I made them with the minimum amount of water required to have as little as possible to take. I am now on day 5 adn actually liking them, and I also take them with more water now. Like you though, I cant stand the chicken soup. I have 3 left, and I will be forced to have one on Tuesday morning before WI, if I still dont like it, (maybe my tastes will have changed) then I will swap the other two.

Try to get the whole sachet down as its giving you all the nutrients your body needs. I use a huge hot mug of coffee and sweetex to mix the vanilla one. Huge hot peppermint tea to mix the chocolate one, and the only one I have cold is the strawberry.

Keep it up and I am sure it will be easier to drink once you see your first WI.

i also pay £36 but the mens ones are different prices i think.

i hear the flapjacks are like marmite - you either love or you dont...i have a nut allergy so wont touch them with a barge pole.

My chemist said dont bother with the flapjacks they are awfull, i dont like the chicken soup the smell puts me off, i dont mind the other 3 tho. Im taking chicken soup back and wont be getting them next time lol

Really are the flapjacks that bad? I am thinking of getting one for my lunchtime at work. I can't blend in school.

It's worth getting one just to try, you never know, you may be THE ONE who likes them, LOL!!!......i didnt enjoy it at all but i would try it again in a few weeks as your tastebuds do change! xx

If you're worried about mixing up shakes at work buy a shaker. They're not expensive and available at pharmacies, supermarkets and health food shops

Hi GaryH,
Well done so far, I too detest (i cannot find a better publishable word for them) 'chicken' soups...I tried a flap jack...I didn't listen to others regarding them and well I think it might be worth you trying at least one so you know what you are NOT missing.

I am living off Strawb and Choc, was 14 strawb and 7 choc but going for more choc next time as i'm going off strawb (not that I was ever on them) but means to an end and you are not supposed to find them moreish actually they are fuel for your body and thats it.

Keep with it and do finish them even if you have to hold your nose and get them down quickly, change the chicken pronto and perhaps get a flap jack just to curb your curiosity.

Good luck i'll keep a look out for your weight loss post! :)
