I have been shopping and swear that i have put all GOOD things in my trolley.
(i must behave)
i bought
carrots-leeks-tates-swede-brocoli-bananas-oranges-apples-baked beans-small loaf bread-squash-mug shots(to try).....and...16 pots of muller light LOL
cos they on offer at the minute..54p each or 8 for £2 in morrisons, and in tesco they are 27p each.
but wot i want to know is has anyone tried to freeze them? I have googled it and it sent me to martins money tips, where people are saying you can, but make sure you give em a good whisk before eating them (i thought you could shake the pot).. I am going to put a pot in my freezer now to see
has anyone done this ??

Hmn I don't think it turns out very nice if you just put them straight in the freezer... could do like in the latest SW mag to make it like icecream - just adapt it to what ever flavour mullerlight you want to use?

In fact I'll give it a try with some banana and custard ones and let you know how it turns out :)

Thanks I shall go to Morrisons this week! I have frozen them in the past, but I must admit I gave up after the first go. I needed a pickaxe to get into one, and it shot off the plate at one point!I've always been a soft scoop girl!

The Muller website says you can freeze them but they won't be as nice when they defrost because of separation. Maybe if once defrosted they'll be used in or with something else then they'll be ok?

ooh I need to get a few thank you :)

i wonder if we give the pot a good shake when its defrosted?
mines been in freezer since about 3 pm this afternoon
hows yours going LoChan1984

Sorry Alice - I went out to my nan's for the afternoon and evening so I'm going to make them tomorrow when I'm in to get the blending done. Trouble is I've gone and left my slimming world magazine there now lol My nan got the free book out of the news of the world and liked the look of things so I took a few bits of reading material and a spare handbook round for her :)

I've c&p'd this basic recipe off the SW website though and remember the magazine included an egg white too so will try this'n:

"To make Slimming World’s basic Free ice cream you will need:
2 x 200g pots of Müllerlight yogurt
(any flavour)
1 x 500g pot very low fat natural
fromage frais
Artificial sweetener, to taste
method

It’s so simple! Stir the yogurts and fromage frais together, sweeten to taste and pop in a freezer-proof tub. Place in the freezer and lightly whip approximately every 30 minutes to break down any ice crystals that are forming. Because all the ingredients are Free, it doesn’t matter how often you lick the spoon! Your ice cream should be ready in a couple of hours (if there's any left!)There are no end of flavours you can make using this simple ice cream recipe and different flavours of yogurt and chopped fresh fruit – happy inventing!"

If I can get hold of these new 'vanilla and dark chocolate' flavour mullers someone mentioned on another thread - mmmm! Dunno if they are free though, if such lovely things do exist...
