2. Does it effect weight loss?
3. What allowed brands do you use?

I was told tablet only sweeteners, I use the sliver spoon one but not sure if brands come into it???

yep you can have any tablet sweeteners but not the powdered stuff, I use tesco or morrisons own cos I can't stand the hermesetas type ones or sweetex.
No it won't affect your weight loss
