It would be really nice to hear from any one who's done lipotrim or any diet thats kept their weight off, even if they've had a few blips along the way.

My greatest fear is losing the weight and having that taken away from me, by me putting it back on again. I almost feel that , not that i dont deserve to be slim, but because I've been overweight for so long thats normal for me?

Enough rambling I've got to think I can do it and will follow the maintenance diet at the end.XX

hey!
ive not been on this diet long enough to have maintained etc but i did do it during the summer and lost a stone and a half. i went back on the diet after 3 months but during that time i did not put on even a pound!... i will be completely honest and say that i did not refeed i just ate healthy from the day that i stopped LT, i cut out all oily and fatty foods from my diet and had plenty of veg. maybe i just got lucky but i honestly didnt put any on. Hence i back on LT to shift the rest of my weight!!

There are lots of people who have done LT and have maintained!... when you have some time, go through older threads and you will find lots of great bits of advice that will help along the way. alot of people who have finished LT do come back on to let us know how they r getting on... so i'm sure someone will be along to help ya xxx

also, best way to think about this is that you will never ever go back completely to the weight that you were unless you have really bad eating habits and do not maintain well. i need to lose 10stones to get to my ideal weight (well 7ish now) and if i put on 10stones again then i think i have definitely gone wrong somewhere along the way!!!!! i may put on a stone or something even 2 depending on what i eat etc but i am hoping that i would never ever go back to what i was! and i am sure you wont either x

Thanks it just that I've been overweight for so long now, it was always just a dream that I could be slim. Now its a reality, thats just a bit scary!! Thanks I need lots of reassurance, sorry to be a pain.:)

gosh dont be sorry, i really understand what you are going through. I have been overweight since the age of 11 and for me being slim is a big big dream!!! you have done amazingly well so far and in no time your dream is gonna be a big reality!... its gonna be a great feeling for you... so enjoy every minute of it without worrying!...

i met an old colleague today in town and she walked past me .. i was like hey hey... dont ignore me... and she was like.. omg i didnt recognise you!!!... i was glowing from my head to my toes! its such an amazing feeling especially when i remember that people used to notice me in a crowd because i was the fattest person in it!...
