Aw, sorry...I live all the way in Bristol...find I run better solo though...good luck searching...maybe try a running club or women's groups that are beginner runners and such in the local area...if you like company...

my sister in law has just bought a dog, border collie x husky, so she will be my running partner eventually.

Last year I did a run for charity with a group, and everyone trained together, you could try finding something like that? Then it'd be for 2 good causes!
