Anyone else restarting on 2nd Jan?

I was wondering how many of us are going to refeed for Christmas :4616:
and restart on the 2nd of January?
Maybe we could get together on here for moral support when we start up again.
For me, this will be my last time, as I'll only have about 20lbs to go by then, but re-starting is never pleasant and we can help each other a bit. :sign0163:

I'm hoping to be at target by then so I will be stressing about maintaining so I will certainly be here to cheer you on and seek support myself. Its a really good idea to plan a virtual get together as getting back on track will be a challenge for everybody.

By the way you have been going really well Cathy I think it will work well for you to have a little break and then focus on your final phase x

Oh thanks Tara, you've done brilliantly too!
I see we started at almost identical weights and you're 6 weeks ahead of me, I hope to be at target by early February and then maintain.
I swear I'll never put this weight back on! it's been too long and hard a journey to ever want to spoil it.
Feeling slimmer and looking normal enough not to raise a comment from anyone feels too good now! xx
 
I am hoping to be maitaining by then to so I defo will be around to get and give moral support xx
 
Hi All,

I'm starting re-feed on the 15th, I'm going to follow the re-feed program for 2 weeks and just have a day off Christmas Day and have a drink boxing day..

I'm very nervous about re-starting the 2nd Jan - got a feeling it will be harder the 2nd time around.
(Still got another 35lb to go though and LT is defo the way to lose it!!)

I'm not sure whether or not to refeed, or to carry on and just have my xmas dinner. But either way i will be here to offer support in the new year. :) x
 
Bing, if you decide not to refeed you may feel quite poorly after your Christmas dinner!
Peeps on here who've not refed and just eaten a meal, have all said they felt really grim after doing it.
One of the Moderators or very experienced LTers will probably be along to explain the technicalities.
I wouldn't want you to feel ill on Christmas Day!!
 
Ive decided to do proper refeed next wk in time for x,mas,looking forward to a glass of wine or two over x'mas.....so will be back here on the 2nd of jan to get & give support....Caz xx

Thanks Cathy, i don't want to feel poorly on Christmas day. I may just re feed for that week then. :)
 
Hey everyone count me in too. I am going to start to refeed after 22 and then starting around 28th again, long enough to spend xmas with my family and not worry too much but however I am going to watch what I eat like a hawk just incase!
 
I'm in to. Thats my plan, refeed, enjoy Christmas and then knuckle down to LT from 2nd Jan, should be at proper refeed weight by last week in Jan. I should of gone into refeed weeks ago, but havent been brave enough to stop LT fully, so some days I eat, others I do LT and have within a couple of pounds up and down have maintained at the same weight. But need to stop messing around in 2009 and into a proper refeed / maintenance / healthy eating routine.

Good luck everyone, dont go mad over Christmas as that will make the restart all the more tricky, but enjoy it none the less!! xx

Refeeding on the 17th, going to enjoy a xmas and new year dinner with drinks and stick to the plan through the other days, back on LT the 2nd.
Dreading putting a few pounds on but won't let it worry me too much, from the 2nd its LT the way to slimness, I'm guessing that may be April/May (fingers crossed). Hubby has promised me £500 for a new wardrobe when I reach my goal weight, he never moans about my weight and has been really good with support, that just gives me a boost to get there, a new summer slim wardrobe, yay.

I'm like Tara, refeeding for Christmas then hoping I can maintain my losses with maintanence. I will be popping on here as often as I can and will offer any support I can to those restarting. My only advice to everyone (including me) is to try not to overdo it over Christmas, especially where the carbs are concerned!!! Mind you, am looking forward to a roastie potato Christmas day and Boxing day!

I've decided that i'm starting to re feed next Saturday after my WI. I'm not going to have a blowout, just be sensible. Then on the 2nd i shall be straight back on LT. :)
