CD & WW doesn't work!

In theory it should. I'm on day three of doing 810 with 4 packs & a WW meal of no more than 395 cals.
So it should work. BUT I'm bloody hungry, so much so I've blown it today!

It's the carbs, they're making me so hungry.... Well, I've got sat & sun off as I'm away for weekend, so come monday I'm back on it!..... Bloody carbs are the bain of my life!

CD and WW are definitely not designed to be used together! Its no surprise you are hungry.
Carbs in the WW meal making you hungry and you are actually nearer 1000 cals with 4 packs + a meal. 4 packs of 154 cals + 395 cal meal??
If you are going to do 810, you need 3 packs, half a pint of skimmed milk and the protein meal outlined in the book.
Good luck :)

Just wanted to say good luck! you can do it, you just need to watch your carbs and your calories!

That was the one thing that worried me about your experiment -- the carbs. First and foremost, CD is a vlcd/lcd, but secondly it is also a virtually carb free diet to put us in mild ketosis. I imagine cutting calories and eating carbs would be pretty tough going.

Finding the diet that suits you best is a tough one and I applaud you for trying, but I fear you might have the worst of both worlds now. It might be better to combine CD with low carbing/low GI but at the end of the day I think the CD 1000 plan is your best bet if you feel you need a little bit extra than SS+.

I'm not on SS+ I'm currently doing 810 to get to goal. Also I meant to put 3 packs not 4.

I just thought I'd try it to see if it would work. It didn't! I can't stand the hunger..... Will start again on cd 810 on monday.

Me & my bloody bright ideas.lol

To be fair too, it wasnt really CD and WW, it was CD and the fact it was a WW meal is more incidental than anything else.

Hope you get on well with 810

later on you can merge the two plans - I followed the cd book till 1200 plan - then I have been on roughly 12-14 points and two packs (eg equal to 18=6 - 18 points (I know I am sad I pointed the packs!!!) I am now maintaining on 16 points and a cd pack (again 18 points) works for me - but I did follow the cd plan to begin with for the reintroduction of carbs an so on. Hope you get sorted xx

i follow the low GI diet now or the Hays diet on different days. This works really well x not on CD at all now and havnt put the weight back on

oohh make me 4!! hehe!!

im having 4 days off from sat (away visiting parents in spain) where can i get the booklet that tells you the right things to eat? i know im going to be sensible but would be even more helpfull if i knew things NOT to eat!!!

Aaaahhh to be at goal and worry about maintaining... Dying to get there!

You'll all get there - and sooner than you think as long as you stick to the plans.

Emmie, have a good read of the Weightcare with Cambridge (yellow) booklet before you go to Spain (if you don't have it already, make sure you get one from your CDC) and take a look at the foods that are recommended on the 810 and 1000 cal plans.

Stick to those, avoid carbs as much as possible and you'll be fine :)

did anybody here try doing WW after completing CD? Not to lose more weight but to help maintain it? i was thinking of doing WW for a month after CD, i think i would need 25 points to maintain. any ideas if it's worth a try?

Im now on ww, after 22weeks on cd , im having 18pts a day but was wanting to lose another 9lb when i swoped over to ww, ive been losing 1lb a week so far so am very happy with it.xx

I'm planning to go back to WW to lose a bit more and then learn to maintain... when I'm happy I know how I can eat to maintain I'll come off it, but not before! Susan70, at what point BMI-wise did you switch and did you go straight from SS to WW? And did you gain?

Sorry, lots of questions! xx
