Awwwight!

Dis

Yo.
Wow, I have returned to CD/SS!
so far, i'm just trucking along through day one and it's all coming back to me in full force: constant weeing, jitters, fighting the 'grazing urge', etc etc.

i'm doing well today. hey, is it possible to be kicked into ketosis on the first day? at the moment, i've got the ketosis jitters and feel really nice...hmmm...but then again, i feel hungry. so i take back the question and just chaulk it up to nerves! i can imagine that by the end of the day, i could very well have the grumps and be short fused as the body begins to withdrawl from the ounds of carbs it's gotten used to again.
:party0051:

i have very high hopes for my personal success this time around! the last time i was on cd/ss, i lost nearly 7 stone!! and i luved it!! stopped to try for 2nd baby, and concieved the first attempt, so i'm terribly grateful for that!
Toby was born Oct 2nd...and weighed in at a whopping 11lb 4oz!!!!! i was in a state of shock, for sure!! and everyone in theatre were giggling and shock as well! my first, Fynn (2), was 8lbs...so this was so unexpected! oh, and i should add, it was a planned c-section...there's no way (!!!) something that size is coming outta this hoohoo! (tmi!)) hahahaha
:copon:
I have gained sooo much weight back on. and i MISS how i felt in the saller trousers soooo much! I WILL get back to that! i WILL have a very comfortable summer, full of activites with my family!

so, roll on the week!!!

...one more thing...

...my ticker reflects a short term goal for the sake of "mind trickery!"

anything farther away than that, and i may just be setting myself up for failure.
so baby steps it is!

Welcome back Dis :D:D:D

Crikey!!!!...I thought I'd delivered a 3 month old baby with my first as he was 10lbs!!!, but 11lbs 4oz....:eek::eek:!!!

Hang in there for your day 1 and you know the score....keep as busy as possible (in between loo trips..lol) :):):)

Glad to see you back Dis and congratulations on that whopping baby lol.

Good luck on your journey!

Are you still with the same CDC because there is one closer to you now and she's lovely. I went to her last year but a bit of stress caused me to fall off the wagon (again) :(

Looking forward to hearing about your continued success :D

Hiya, just wanted to wish you luck on CD again and say congrats on the birth of your child. My cousin was about the same weight. Lol, just remembered about that 17lb baby who was born in Russia earlier this year, he was only 5lbs less than our little dog. :D

You can do it

I am starting today also after putting most of my weight back on!!! Are you going to stay on it during Christmas??

Sharon

First Week In Nearly Complete

First off...
i have a 9 weeks old and a 2 year old BOTH sleeping and yet I'm awake at this hour?!?! willingly?? oh dear, i have a feeling i may regret this later.

I haven't been back to post at all through my first week of 'trials & tribulations'...the night before the official start date of my ss'ing, i managed to damage my laptop for the first time in years. a slow seeping of cranberry juice has possibly ruined it. :( waaa! i've grown quite attached to that laptop over theyears. hmm, oh well. i still have a pc to use (but hubby is usually on it). maybe i've been extra good this year to deserve a special treat of a new one anyways. :)

righty, Cd/SS news...
the first week...i've had zero blips. but of course, the food just screams my name from the next room most days. and out of a terrible habit, i tend to open the cupboard doors to see what i can graze on (hungry or not), EVERYTIME i enter the kitchen! the brain desperately tries to command my arms to reach out for that pack of cookies or to make a quesadilla or whatever else it can see.

i'm happy to report, the arms have resisted! woot woot!
Also, just like last time around on CD, I get pleasure of 'tasting' via inhaling all smells of foods...like the loaf of tiger bread or the gravy for the meal i prepare for the hubby and kids, etc etc. AND!!! this first week, i have managed to bake pretty much everyday. which tells me i'm eating by proxy...again!

the goodies all go to the office with hubby. one co-worker commented: candice goes on the diet, everyone else gains a few pounds!

is that naughty of me? must try to avoid doing it with my toddler! don't want to push my childhood eating problem (stuffing face with junk and everything else around) onto him...

all is going well, just having a little problem with consuming all that water. but, with a 9lb loss so far, i'll keep truckin along. :)

***anyone know if i can add a bit of the no-sugar squash/hi-juice to the water??***

good juju to everyone else in their daily challenge to meet the goal! ciao 4 now!
