Hi all,

I was wondering how many if anyone has any idea how many lbs does it take to drop a dress size?

I dropped a dress size after I lost 1.5 stone but it depends on the individual and where you lose the weight from 1st. I am very close to dropping another size too.:D

It took me to lose 2 stone last time before i dropped a size...
xx

oh god that means i have looooads to drop lol i think it really does depend on the individual and the shop i am loads of different sizes i'm two different sizes from top to bottom never mind which shop i go in so i can't win.

I think they say 10lbs on average but it varies from person to person. I think there's usually 2 inches on a waist size difference between sizes so that's quite a good guide. But don't forget that all the shops size things a bit differently (or, as I find in H&M, wildly differently - I can be in a 12 top and 20 bottoms! LOL!)

In Mark One i'm a size 12 top but in H&M i'm an 18. Pfft. lol.

New Look is the only shop that gets it right for me, size 14 in every top they do lol. xx

H&M is so annoying! Love the shop but the sizing is crazy! I was a size 14 and I had to buy a size 20 blouse! Size 14's there feel like size 8's most of the time... I think I have one or two items from H&M which are actually my correct size.

I've dropped a dress size and I've lost a stone so far... but my bottom half is still comfortable in a size 14.

Does anyone else get annoyed with how low slung some jeans and trousers are? I find they're ridiculous and emphasise my belly even more so I don't buy them, I very rarely buy jeans/trousers because the cut most of the time is so weird on me! I becoming a big fan of dresses!

It seems to be 12lbs for me to drop each dress size but i think peop;e are all different. xxx

Its so infuriating!!

Tut! So I currently have a saggy bum in 3 pairs of jeans!?x

It is horrible being in between sizes, everything feels big and you have to keep pulling trousers up but next size is far too tight grrrr.

Rachella i know what you mean about the low cut jeans, i hate this as when i have had jeans like that the top half of my stomach falls over the jeans and when i sit down the back of them goes away down so that i'm practically bearing all. i try to look for higher waisted trousers and jeans now.

lol, it took me a stone onwards to really notice. With me its my jeans getting bigger round the waist. I cant afford to buy new clothes all the time so invested in sum kool belts...xxx
