Too good to be true??

Hi guys - I joined and went to my first class on Monday night. As obviously I hadn't been following the plan before class I came home and had one final 'have whatever I want' meal :) So, I finally started yesterday and feel like I had loads. Specifically on the egg fried rice (in fry lite) front.

I am so petrified that if I carry on like this I'll go to class next Monday and get a '1 on' response!

Does eating lots really work?? I'm sceptical but I hope so much that i'm wrong!!

Would love some reassurance from all you guys who know your stuff!!

Eating lots does work as long as it's from the free food list. You can eat as much as you like from the free foods.

So many people who start the SW diet can't believe how full they feel all the time and that they can actually eat so much and still lose weight.

I think the worst thing about the first two weeks or so is convincing your brain that it is actually ok to be eating as much as you are. You never need to be hungry with the SW plan.

My hubby can't believe how much I'm allowed to eat and lose as much as I have.

You're right - it is an odd feeling going to bed full up and trying not to feel guilty about it! Spent the past 3 years doing (and failing) SS and living on 1000calories a day so this is a big change!

Presumably it's about food combining as well? I was surprised they don't explain that on the website, otherwise why would there be red and green days?

My favourite foods are rice and pasta so if I can lose weight eating them....happy days :)
 
I had a tummy bug my first week of SW and didn't eat much for days and managed to lose 6lb my first week (no surprise) but was CONVINCED that when I started eating again that I would put on for my second weigh in but actually lost another 5lb! And the rest is history....

IT WORKS!!
