HI if a recipe uses 2 tbsps of cornflour and its into 4 portions how much would you syn each portion syning only the cornflour thanks xxx

I'm sure someone will be along soon with the answer...

I've never used cornflour, ever. What does it 'do'? Is it simply for thickening things?

well, 1 level tbs of cornflour is 3.5 syns on both days so......

x 2 = 7 syns

divide that by 4 =1.75

So I would round that up to 2 syns per portion.

HTH but I'm not good at maths...........

i asked for the syn value of it yesterday (in the syn value sticky) have a look in there, then divide it by 4.
