Is Diet Chef Low GI or not?

after reading a few threads, i have seen suggestion that Diet Chef is not in fact that Low GI. The main reason I am on it is because I found out recently I have polycystic ovaries and am insulin resistant and it has been triggered by my weight gain, although I am not actually overweight. I chose Diet Chef specifically because of this as I have no idea what I am doing and just really want to reverse the effect gaining this weight has had on my body, and to prevent any further gain especially.

Does anyone know if it is suitable for me in this situation? If not I am very angry that they could advertise it as Low GI when there are people like me that actually need Low GI for medical reasons, not just weightloss.

Haing said all that, 2 days in to it, I really like the food, it tastes good and I feel like I have a lot more energy!

sorry..this is in 2 sections now, didn't know where I should put it for more views/replies :)

Good point

Hiya :)
Like you I have been wondering this myself.
I have trested more of a calorie controlled diet instead. The little leaflet starts by saying about calories and then a little way in goes on about GI. I am pretty confused! So, I was going to ring them and ask, customer services is open 9-5 Mon-Fri...the order line are not much help with things like this.
If you need to know for a medical reason then I would suggest calling them direct yourself :)
They have to be honest with you!!! Also , show the diet to your doctor and see what they say? I hope it is all true as I am still losing weight but would be nice to know there is a bit of science behind it all and not just calorie counting :D xxx
