Shoe Queen!
Hi all, I am in my 3rd week of CD , on my 3rd attempt and tbh am pretty sick of the sight of the stuff now :(
My Mum picked up a 'look what we found' meal in Waitrose the other day and blow me down when she was cooking it , it smelt so good! When she was eating it I actually had to leave the house!!
I was going to stick with CD until Jan BUT I want to go to the gym and I simply do not have the energy on CD :( So going to think seriously about over night and see my CDC tomorrow and let her know what I decide to do. Since talking about Diet Chef , my Mum and Hubby are backing me to do it, My Hubby just is happy that I'll be eating real food again!
So, anyone have any pro's and con's to help me make my mind up? Anything would be appreciated!!
Cheers! Sarah xxxx

Anybody out there? A few views but no replies :(

hi sarah. like you I am new to this forum, my order is due to arrive tomorrow, I found this forum thru a search and did quite a bit of reasearch and good reviews about this diet and it really appealed to me, good luck with it if you decide to start it

i'm on a similar diet called go lower - same principle - food delivered to your door etc only slight difference is this one is low carb, high protein so it puts you in ketosis like cd/ atkins

Am on week 6 now and have found it brilliant - it's about the same price as diet chef and cd etc (four hundred and something for 12 weeks if i remember correctly)

can't comment specifically on diet chef but for me this way of dietting is only pro, pro, pro - i haven't found any cons - except perhaps that the weight doesn't come off quite as quick as on CD

Hiya, thanks for the replies :)
Well, looks like the desicion has been made for me...Went to the doctors this morning and he has told me to come off CD. Apparently, I have developed anemia , not the blood loss kind but the VB12 & Folate kind. At least that explains the bloating and tiredness.
He says that I need to properly look at my diet and exercise and after telling him about Diet Chef he seemed positive about that. Also, he said once we are on top of this anemia then I could possibly go back to CD on one of the higher plans.
Just got a nice VB12 injection to look forward to now

sorry to hear about the anemia although on the positive side better to have it diagnosed and being looked into than not knowing.

best of luck with diet chef - let us know how you're getting on as I'm really interested in all these deliver to your door diets and reading a few threads on diet chef the food seems pretty similar to go lower

Hiya :)
I am loving Diet Chef :D
I dont really feel like Im on a diet but I know I am because Im not eating junk! I do not miss bread at all or anything sweet tbh. I feel confortable and no more grumbling tummy either :D
The food is great, it is so tasty, I had sausage casserole last night with some carrots and a piece of broccoli...yum!
Oh and the parsnip soup for lunch was divine...because it was thick it filled me right up!
My Mum (who weighs about as much as a paper bag) even nicked the mushroom soup and the mutton stew! She said this is not diet food, it's healthy eating as it should be!
So, yeah I would certainly recommend it! Oh and btw...I am still losing weight :D xxx

Hi, i definitely recommend Diet Chef if you're having the problems you seem to be with CD. My housemate just lost a load of weight on CD, but he constantly felt like he was about to pass out when we stood up and also hated that he didnt really have the option of excerising cause no energy and dizziness.

you may not have the drastic results AS quickly on diet chef but i think in your case it will improve your quality of life A LOT...and easier to sustain. I could really eat like this the rest of my life as it is real and yummy food.

ps. I am eating the tomato and pesto soup now and it is sooo good! 2 days in and i havent even cheated yet (that sounds like not long but i am a sucker for junk usually!)

Good Luck
