ahhh just timed out so will have to write this all again

soooo basically, i have been doing slimming world since april and have lost just over a stone, i have 11.5 lbs to target and my target is 9 stone.

i did cambridge diet last year and started when my bmi was just over 25 therefore clinically overweight. my bmi is now healthy and so i cant get any cambridge diet sachets.

so basically my question is has anyone used slimfast shakes in place of cambridge diet ones? (only having 3 shakes a day and no food at all)
does anyone see a problem inme doing this?

thanks

Yes big problem! Slimfast shakes are not the same as Cambridge in that they have carbs in them so you don't go into ketosis. But on 750cals a day you'd be on a VLCD and not getting enough cals for your BMI. Why not do Slimfast with the meal as they suggest?? or SW or WW for the last few pounds???

im doing slimming world at the moment but i have stayed the same for at least 10 weeks now and i just cant seem to get below what i am at the moment so need a boost.

cambridge diet worked great for me last time but obv cant get the shakes :(:(:(

I have done lipotrim in the past, and i have bought some off ebay before but at a much higher cost than the pharmacy. I have seen cambridge on ebay so if that works for you take a look at ebay. obvisously your not under any supervision whilst doing it that way, but only having slimfast shakes you will be v. hungry.

NOOOOO!!! Never buy cambridge/LL/LT or anything like that off ebay. For a start it's banned now - but how do you know what you are getting is real?? Would you accept a sweet off a toatal stranger and eat it?? Nope - then why risk buying something from someone you don't know and don't know where it's been or what it is??

If you want to do Cambridge - why not go back to your CDC and do the higher plans??

I plateaud on SW - thats why I'm here, but doing it with one meal. It should work as its meant to.

BTW how many cals is the min to have per day so you still lose weight and not go into 'starvation' mode???

I read that your body adjusts to being on a diet after so long and so it now is functioning on less calories anyway. The website (it was oprahs *hangs head in shame*) suggested instead of eating say 1400 calories each day, eat 1100 one day and 1700 the next and just keep mixing things round. The idea is to keep your body guessing without it thinking that its starving so it doesn't adjust and get used to your average daily intake.

You could also try reversing the portions throughout the day, most people eat small breakfasts and large dinners, try things the other way around it might give your metabolism a bit of a boost.

Hope thats of some help x
