im wearing a black roll neck jumper black trousers black socks and some day glo orange shoes I managed to pick up from priceless shoes for £1.50! was going to wear some day glo orange beads on but my neice who is dressing tonight as a zombie ballerina has "borrowed" them without asking anyway im walking round the hospital in my bright orange shoes being festive !

Right that's Hayden sorted... got a boiler suit from the charity shop.. cut it up.. painted splodges of black nail varnish on it, and black eye shadow to make it look dirty then poured fake blood all over it!!!!! He is psycho mechanic!!! NICE

I have just started to decorate the windows and the front of the house. I am not doing outside till a bit later. With it being half term, the little bu**ers round here will pull all the stuff down!
I have got a massive supplyof sweets and I have a witches hat and nose to scare the trick or treaters with.
My 2yr old looks so cute in her witches outfit and my older 2 are dressed as dead school girls! I love Halloween

I'm afraid I'm more of a close the curtains and pretend I'm not in kind of girl. Mind you, the kids round here are really annoying - they don't bother to do the dressing up part, they just hammer on the door, sing 'halloween is coming, halloween is coming' (its not even a real song for crying out loud...!) then hold out their grubby little hands for money!!! (OMG I'm turning into my own mother!)

When we moved here we couldnt believe how many people take part. There is a little rule that if someone has a pumpkin in their window or outside, then they are happy for you to knock. If they don't, then the children don't knock.
I love all the kids who come out with their parents. I refuse to give anything to teenagers just wearing a mask, or if I do, then I only ever give out sweets and not money. It's a shame that there are some that spoil it for others. Flaming yobs!
Im going to be the party pooper I cant stand halloween. I am going to do a little haloweeny picnic for my kids but the neighbours kids arnt having a bean off me.
I am only saying that because we had one little girl only last year trick or treating which I didnt mind but the door knocked about another 20 times and they were all teenagers about 14 years old and I am sure it was the same ones going round in circles. Now I think that is a little old for trick or treating and they were practically brawling over the bowl of lollies.

Just can't wait for flippin bonfire night, then roll on Christmas - it's like a charter for kids to go begging!! Wouldn't mind if they came with parents, or if they dressed up a bit or something but they just hammer on the door and demand money!

I would do the same but my little girls are messing around in there room being noisy when they should be asleep so I cant pretend Im out. Little cutie pie terrors bags. My girls that is not the ones that knock at the door.

Happy Halloween everyone. Just in from taking my wee boy and his friend out. We only go to the people that we know and the ones who have their house decorated. I only had one group at my door tonight and it was some of my sons other friends. I know what you mean though about the teenagers. Last year i was at my mums and a group of boys who must have been about 17 or 18, they weren't even dressed up and they just stood there when we opened the door. My dad just said 'i don't thinkso guys'. I don't mind having kids at my door (well ones i know from round about) but i think the older ones are just at it.
Having a wee night off tonight, as having some friends round for drinks and some food. I am just going to enjoy it and draw a line under it.

How lucky is this...
was behind food wise today.. didnt have breakfast till quite late.. then went out to a friends and then on to a halloween party... no lunch!!! no dinner ... eeeeeeeeeek
Anyhoo at the party there was a huge table of buffet food... crisps sandwiches cakes etc.. Im blooming starvin... but I am sweatin.. Im on track.. I WI tomorrow.. what am I gonna do????????
Then the host says "Em do you want a jacket potato with veg curry!!!!!"
OH my word.. angels sang and the clouds parted..
