Been to doctors

Been to the doctors this morning and he signed my form so now I can officially start the CD.

He was very positive about it and gave me a small check up and has asked me to go back in 6 weeks to see how I am doing and have another check up to see if my BP is dropping.

I was so nervous but he was really good and very positive which made a refreshing change.

Just waiting for my CDC to contact me know to make my first appointment. Hoping to be able to go this week as would really like to start on 27th :)

Great news Lisa and wish you all the best for when you start....just remember that we are all here with you on this journey.

Just think of the first week as your body recovering from all the toxins, etc so even if you experience headaches, nausea, etc...it is a good sign!

Brilliant news :D . I am so pleased that your doctor has been so supportive and you are ready to go after Christmas.

You will be loosing those pounds before you know it.

One tiny piece of advice I would give to any new starter would be to get yourself some of the psyllium husks or capsules and take them from the start, makes things go so much easier (if you get what I mean! :p ).

I waited 2 weeks before I got mine ! :eek:

Why not give your counsellor a ring rather than waiting for her to call you :p

That's great news, it's good to hear your doctor is being so supportive.
 
Glad that you have got over the hurdle of getting your GP to sign. Sounds like you are motivated to go ! Good luck and remember the answers to everything are on here somewhere !

Wooohoooo spoke to my CDC tonight and off to see her tomorrow to get started.

Can't wait to start on 27th and I am almost wishing Christmas away :)
