i was feeling rather awful today, went to work for the 2nd time this week and still no heating, so i am feeling colder than ever, with being in ketosis. but i ate today and feel so bad, i have 2 young children, and a husband so there is always food in the house. can i still carry on with ll? i might have to quit:confused:. at the moment , i feel as though i have no will power left and it is really a hard diet:sigh:

hi
sorry to hear your having a bad day, dont worry they happen to everybody!! just look at how well you have done so far. drink loads of water and put the blip down as a mistake it doesnt have to mean the end of your ll journey.
have you rung your llc they are supposed to be there when we need them.
please remember that this is hard but that you have all of us for support and that it doesnt last forever, i find thinking that i CAN have anything i want but that i am CHOOSING to stick to ll helps when i am looking at all the food in the cupboard.
sending you lots of hugs

Hi Clarins.

Sorry you are struggling - but lets look at a few things.

1. How badly have you wanted to lose weight over the years? I reckon pretty badly- might wager a guess its on your mind morning noon and night? I know that's how it was for me.

2. How long have you been heavy? I was Obese for 25 years or so. But even a figure as low as 5 months feels like FOREVER, hauling all that weight around on a skeletel frame. Its painful. It hurts. SO I was fat approximately 300 months. having to Work hard, for 9 months seemed like a long time. But it is only 3% of the time I spent fat. A blink of an eye.

2. Is a TEMPORARY break from food for that short a period of time worth saying goodbye to a few of your favourite things, in order to be slim, healthy, pain free, proud, happy, etc., for a mere fraction of the time you have suffered? Which is more important? Or would you rather continue as you are?

3. Are you worth the effort? You bet your bottom dollar you are.

4. Is the effort worth the results. Yes. Unequivocably - YES.

If you can hang on - and make a promise and comitment to yourself - for a very short time - you will no longer need to rely on your will power. THe ketosis will take care of that. In a couple of weeks time - thats just 14 +/- days out of years of being heavy - you will no longer experience physical hunger. Seeing your family eat or anyone else - will not even phase you. And you WILL - (really hear this) - you WILL reach your goal. Where all other diets failed - this once will be a success.

Please think long and hard about how much you want this - and realise it is such a short amount of time and hard work - to change your life, and give you the life you have a right to. A healthy and happy one.

You must speak louder then your chatterbox. Your chatterbox is what wants to give up and eat - not you. You want to be slim. You are the boss - not your chatterbox.

We all are here going through it with you. You are not alone. A burden shared, is a burden lightened.

Go have a long long look in the mirror - look right into your eyes - look long and hard and ask yourself these questions. Ask you which you would rather have....

a dream come true - a life you have longed for;

Or a plate of fattening food.

For me, it was a no-brainer.

This diet makes your goal acheivable - and hard work is rewarded. THe prize: happiness.

You can do this. If I can, anybody can.

If you want it - have it. Its there for the taking!!!

<<<hugs>>> remember you are not alone, and we all have been and felt exactly like you do now.

:)

thank you blonde logic, and ella for your words, i feel much more positive, i am not sure if to contact my counsellor. i feel afraid to tell her, i will make a fresh start tom.

Don't worry about telling your LLC Clarins - goodness me, you don;t think it will be the first time she has heard it, do you? ;) That is EXACTLY what she is there for. That is what you are paying A LOT of money for, and that is who can help you learn how to deal with these challenges.

Glad you are feeling better.

And look on the brightside - you have already lost nearly 10% of your goal. ;)

oh sorry to hear you're having a tough time clarins, its really hard at first but it really does get easier...perhaps just make the decision to do the 100 days and then review it...all loss is a gain if you know what i mean.
i'm 38 and been overweight for years and have never stuck to a diet before but i'm finding this diet just becomes a habit, ok i dont always want to watch other people eat but its nothing like how hard it was at the beginning. i've got a 3 year old that i still sometimes have to spoon feed and it used to be so tempting to lick the spoon but even that urge has passed.
dont beat yourself up about a little slip up, thats how we got like this in the first place isn't it?
all the best

Well done on getting back on track.

As a CDC not a LLC, let me reassure you that I want my clients to contact me if they are struggling .. it's what I'm here for, so don't be frightened to give her a call or email.

it is so true laststraw, it is about attitudes and mine are changing here. from now... i feel stronger today, and know and believe that i can do this:)
