i`m having major trouble sticking to cd at the minute, i ate, gained 2 lbs stuck to ss lost the 2lbs then ate, done this for 2 weeks now.
i know the weight gain is water/glycogen.

the problem is i`m happy with my weight now, and how i look, i have nothing to aim for, no reason to stick to the diet.
when i eat, i dont pig out, i just eat normal food. (i did have 1 binge day, a birthday)
not sure what to do, i want to become a cdc, my cdc cant train me up til december, as she`s not been doing it for 6 months yet, so i suppose i`ll have to stick with cd until then, but feel ready to just eat healthily, i only have 7lbs til my personnal target, i`m sure i can do this just eating like a normal person, but dont want to give up on being cdc.

please can some one give me some ideas of what i can do.
sorry if this is in the wrong place.

If your happy with how you are now, you could start the maintenance step (moving up the plans)

It's really important and will give you something to focus on :)

thanks for replying,
think i will discuss that with cdc, maybe moving up to 1000 will make me feel more normal.

Or if you want to do it quick, a few days on 810 first.

I know this all seems so futile once you've got to goal, but the diet is the whole thing...Stage 1, down to goal (or near), stage 2 (up the plans), Stage 3- practising maintenance. Stage 4, freedom.

You've done stage 1  Now comes the bit that you really do need to be careful with. Well unless you want to SS every few days to keep the weight off.

Hi, sounds like you need more motivation to lose that last few pounds.

I know how you must be feeling - I think moving up the plans sounds like a good idea. I have not done cambridge personally but it seems to make sense to gradually re-introduce foods and to remain careful about carbs in particular as these have been severely restricted.

Everyone is different, but if you introduce the foods in the order/manner CD explain (proteins first then complex carbs, etc) in the maintenance plan (LL and Lipotrim have similar ones) then weight shouldn't go rocketing on...I remember LOSING weight whilst on maintenance (9lbs during the 10 weeks of management/maintenance I did)...and getting worried as I couldn't eat all of the food I was now faced with...but it all balanced out...don't fret...I think with CD they also talk about balancing days and using packs when you want to eat more at special occasions, etc, not sure, but with other vlcds there are several plans you can follow (it is a lifestyle change after all) after the weight loss stage to maintain your weight.

Ask your CD counsellor.

I went away and thought about this some more...I'd stay on the ss plan until you get to target and then try and start maintenance...you can do it, it's the same way you began your weight loss journey...pick it up again and then you're off...

And again speak to your CD counsellor, they're there for the asking...
