Bupa London10,000

I'm thinking of entering the Bupa London 10000 which takes place May 2009. I managed to do the Race for Life in June of this year which was a much much shorter distance. This Bupa race looks a bit high profile as they are talking about running athletes who enter. Has anyone else ever done it or is anyone thinking of entering? I would not be able to run all of the way and would expect to walk some of it (I had spinal surgery a few years ago and have metal rods and screws in my back so I am not able to pound for very long). Opinions please should I give it a go, I want to do something for Cancer research as my Uncle is very ill with bone cancer. What do you think fellow CDers.

Hun go for it!

I did the marathon this year and they were still there at the finish line at 6hrs 20 and will be running again next year, otherwise i would have been doing this one too... But it will a bit soon after 26.2 miles!

I think whether it takes you 4 days( it wont) its the achievement of finishing and I would admire anyone who does that and I hope I'm as determined as you at 56 ;) go on you know you want to!
