Well, as I didnt wake up til 11 and its too late for brekkie, I have decided to have a good old fashioned brunch!! (well, it is Sunday after all!).

So, I'm doing a cooked breakfast, WW style! Its using up 9.5 (just under half) of my daily points allowance but I probably won't feel hungry til the evening after this!!

Here's the menu:

3 Tesco Lighter Choices Sausages (3.5pt)
2 Birds Eye Potato Waffles (3 pt)
1 egg, scrambled (1.5pt)
1 can WW tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce (1.5pt)

No frying involved so no extra points there, and am avoiding bacon as I dont really like it enough to warrant using points on it, would rather have 3 sausages instead.

It smells yummy :) all thats missing is the mushrooms but I dont have any in :( so will have to go without.

I love that I don't have to miss out on stuff like this just because I'm on a 'diet', and I have decided that WW really is the way forward for me, even if I have the odd low loss or STS week, its all in the right direction and there have been no gains which for me is the most important thing. This is the first time in my life where I have been in control of and ENJOYED my dieting, probably because this is the least 'intrusive' diet for my lifestyle! I can still have a life, feel like I am indulging every now and again and never feel deprived.

To anyone who is considering WW and is unsure it's the right thing for them, I say, it is the only way to lose weight I have ever tried (and I've tried a lot) that actually is ENJOYABLE and I feel GOOD doing. And for this reason it is sustainable. OK so the losses are not huge compared with extreme diets, but y'know, there's a good reason for that!! Cos you are eating sensibly, you can treat yourself once in a while, it's a diet for life.
