LIGHTER LIFE QUERY

I am currently on LL diet and have come down with a cold - with a barking cough last night after feeling i was awake most of the night i headed down stairs and took a cap of cough medicine - Is this allowed on Lighter Life?

i think aslong as it doesnt have acid or sugar in it then its fine
