Hi, Me and my partner got our shakes today going to start tomorrow but we both work in an office with no blender so how do we make up the shakes at work?

Having read previous posts i'm expecting the shakes to be pretty bad at first so have bought some straws, anything else we can do to get used to them quickly?

Thanks :wavey:

Welcome to both of you I got a shaker with a metal ball inside off the chemist when i started so i never have a need for a blender even mixes the soup really well x As for getting used to things if you have a read through the forum you will see different tecniques to have your shakes to add some variety, the first 5 days are really hard but it does get easier so stick to it and you will be amazed by the results xx

Yip -invest in a shaker. I only used a blender before but this time I'm finding my shaker really handy and quick so...

The shakes are not that bad! Not even at first, well in my own experience anyway, they're not delicious but that's the point right? 'Not Moreish' and the nasal American guy on the dvd says...well he's right lol but they do get nicer as you become more used to them. I LOVE the choclolate one now cus I can mess around with it -Mocha/ choc mint (made with Peppermint tea -hot or cold)/choc ice shake or good ole hot chocolate.

You'll soon find your own ways of making it work dont wory, and GOOD LUCK!!

Hiya, as the rest has stated the best thing to do is get a shaker, they do taste bad at the start but ya get used to them, all the best for your first week, keep posting to let us know how ya get on

I have a shaker but I am going to go looking for a little hand held battery mini whisk you know like you can use for cappuccinos as I think that may make it even easier.

I just had them in powder form mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

lol wind up merchant x

no honest I did they are lovely..................gunna have one now!

like a dip dab??

:rolleyes::eek::crazy::sign0137: lol

i have a maximuscle shaker that you can get from your local health shop

i have one of these too, and you can also get them from Boots at moment (for about £4.50 i think) just make sure you dont try to mix it with hot water for hot choc or soup, cos it will explode!!!!!!!

I've asked the chemist for one, should have it for me Monday, hope its one with the metal ball, sounds good:)

I use a Tupperware Quickshake when I'm not at home coz the little wheel thingy inside really helps to whisk it up! Tesco's also do an electric hand blender for about £5 if you can use one at work.

I love all the shake flavours these days but have yet to try any hot!

Good luck to you both.

x
