I started CD on 9th September. I am 5'9" and was 18 stone Have lost 29lb up to Tuesday (my weigh in day).

Wk1 13 Wk2 3 Wk3 5 Wk4 2 Wk5 6

I have a "start off" target of 61lb to lose (to take me back to where I was last year) and then probably another 14 - 18lb which I am hoping to tackle after my January holiday.

yey i had the call!!!

the big day is FRIDAY 17th OCTOBER. 11am. the cdc is called christine and she sounds absoloutley brilliant..spent a good 20 minutes on the fone to her...

My start day is: 17th october
My weigh in day is: Fridays
My weight last week : 14st 10lb

Im Sarah and this is the 2nd try at cd, didnt get on with the cdc last time and my heart wasnt in it really, so i gave up at every hurdle.. Now im back and raring to go, cant wait til friday now. If i can get through the weekend then i can get through anything!
the 1st goal is to get the 1st week over with, starting at the hardest point, the weekend when i usualy pig out!

Hi Nelli and Sarah

Nelli you started around the same time as me. We would be twins except you are taller and thinner! LOL! Do you know why you put some on last time? Do you mind me asking?

Sarah - As you've done it before you know the first few days are the hardest. Just put your head down and keep going. The best thing about the first week is how much you lose but you've got to get to the end of it! Oh and come here if you have a problem. weekends are the hardest - just take it one day (hour!) at a time. Are yu going to split the shakes? I do and it means I eat every 2 hours or so. It really helps.
 
hi coley.. i think if i can get through the weekend then i'll be ok, i think im going to split them, easier that way i think.. ive got loads to do, sand the dining room walls, gloss the skirting, and clean my windows in and out!! least i'll be busy lol...
i never did a full wek last time i gave up at every chance and weakness, but i wasnt in the right frame of mind... i most definatley am now!

did u give up on the tv with yr fella!!

I'm 23, 24 in December. Love being on Cambridge as its the most weight I've lost ever in one go, started on 1200 plan and now on 810. I work full time doing Insurance Claims & my fave shake would have to be toffee & walnut but made with hot water. x

ive been up for HOURSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! hope all my fellow 'losers' get up bright eyed and bushy tailed for another day on cd!

remember 1 day at a time, i cant wait to start tomorrow and get stuck in..

me, im at the dentist this morning with my son to be put to sleep for dental work, so not a good start to the day, hes 15 though so he'll be oky doky.. then off to the airport to give my Brother,SIL and family(6kids) a lift, there off to Majorca today, lucky cow, not jealous at all lol:rolleyes:.
im also:sick::sick: poorly ill today:(, felt a bit rough the last day or so, so im dosed up on beechams flu stuff, i have a sore throat and sound like a man, so my delightful son says!

All in all a lovley day today!

Morning! Blimey Sarah you were up early! Hope you are cutting down the carbs today. Will make tomorrow much easier!

MR2 Owner - Isn't this diet just madness? I still can't really get over how much it works! I wish I'd known about it years ago (I'm 38) but nevermind. Better late than never! Toffee and Walnut is gorgeous but the Peanut or Choc Orange bar gives it a run for its money!

A bit about me: As I said I'm 38, live with my lovely fiance. We're getting married next August. We are also trying for a baby and I've been told to shift some weight so I've got double motivation. I did a low calorie diet before this and lost 3.5 stone, then put on a stone over Xmas and because of injury so ended up 2.5 down. So now, in total I'm over 4 stone down from my heaviest!

What else? I work in communications plus I do tarot as a sideline and sell jewellery online. I love my shiny things!
 
Goodmorning all - it's a lovely sunny morning in Glasgow - for a change. My 38th dayof ss - and I feel great this morning - it's amazing what some sun and a few pounds down will do eh!

Claire - I did LL the last time - and didn't get to target or go into maintenance. I went on holiday to the US at the 5st point (with about 16lb to go) and hadn't eaten a thing in 20 weeks of ss'ing. Our consellor didn't tell us a thing about re-introducing food as they don't until you get to maintenance and so I had a plan to eat while I was away (but no idea what) and then get back on the wagon afterwards. I ended up having stomach cramps and really bad constipation for almost the whole time (I saw on here a couple of days ago a post that made me realise I should have been introducing carbs slowly - and as I am a vegetarian was probably way over doing it though I cannot remember what I was eating). I also put on 5lb. When I came back I resumed LL and lost 6lb in a few days, but still had the problems so decided to try to go back to food and keep control :eek: That was a laugh. I was back into the old eating/guilty/eating habit before you could say "toast" :break_diet:
Since then, I have tried several times to get back on the straight an narrow and failed, but eventually something clicked - and here I am. Ashamed that I lost the place before, but determined to keep control this time.
We are off to the US again in January - but I already have my plan thought out for the Christmas period and for the holiday.

Back from the dentist, arent kids the best! anyway hes all done now and hes going to try and milk it lol!!!!!

im always up early, im dreading when the clocks go back in 2 weeks, means it feels like im up earlier lol...

p.s : been the airport aswell now, i wish i was going. the littlest 1s were so excited, theyve never been on a plane before, they have their own little flight bags!

Sounds you both have the 'click' that means this time is THE time! Good, good, good!

Am just back from seeing my CDC and my official loss is 3 pounds this week (although my scales have been showing 4). Better go with the official one.
 
Well done Claire. Do you go to group meetings? I do miss that part of LL - not the counselling which didn't do me one bit of good - but the girls I used to meet up with. I wonder how they are doing - we all kept up for a while, and then I dropped away when my weight started to pile on - so I wonder if they fared better than me - hope so.

No my meeting with my CDC is just me and her. To be honest I think I'm doing more work (in my head!) on here or on my blog than with her. She's nice but I think I prefer just typing stuff rather than talking face to face with someone!
 
its strange i think how people do things so differently to others.. i love reading the forum and get a lot of support from them, and hopefully my cdc will be the same, but i dont think i could sit in like a group situation for a group session IYKWIM..

i prefer the 1to1, its seems a bit more personal to me, the cdc can concentrate on me..

how are we going this monring fellow team members, early i no?

apart from meeting my cdc this morning i havent got much on apart from a visit to makro later!

Sorry for the late reply, my laptop is broken (being fixed) so only have use of the computer whilst at work!! Fingers crossed they fix it for next week. Okay so to answer the questions:

Start weight: 13stone 4 lbs
Weight in day: Mondays
Weight last week: Well I don't start CD till the 27th because I am taking part in the great south run next Sunday. So will need all the carbs I can get till then!

A little bit about me....I'm 22 and live in Bournemouth. My heaviest weight was 14stone 9lbs this Feb. Never want to go back there again. I have tried CD before but I wasnt 100% focused and kept looking for reasons to stop. But this time I'm ready to give it my all as I want to look fab for my 23rd Birthday next Feb. Thinks that's it..... will check back in later xx
 
Good Morning all - Online has provided better support for me than either the LL or CDC counsellors that I've had, but reading the posts I think that maybe i've just not been lucky as there seem to be some brilliant ones around. As I said earlier - the girls were great - but that was about it.
