Hi, I was wondering how many people on this site are actually on lipotrim. How are you doing with your weight loss, how long have you been on it, and have you got any tips for the drinks.
Has anyone tried the flapjacks.... omg they are awful, taste like cardboard.
Feel free to chat about how you are getting on

I did Lipotrim and while in the beginning I thought that the flapjacks were ughie, I got to like them as it was crucial to have something to chew.

Took me ages to get use to the soup, but in the end I got to like that as well:)

Doing CD now.

i must say i liked the flapjacks but many dont. not mouth watering but weight for weight nothing took me so long to eat!!!! and the peanut was kinda nice...

The soup was chronic...i never ever got used to it and kinda put me off soup in general - the lumps didnt help...

The FJ do get better...avoid the coconut- all smell no flavour.

oh oh tip - pop the peanut Flapjack in the toaster or on a radiator to soften em up - not too long or they go rock solid - til they feel pleasantly warm

I could not tell the difference in taste between the coconut and the peanut flavour flapjacks:(

I have tried both flavours they tasted the same, I couldn`t even eat it I had to spit it out ....they are disgusting. Glad Im not the only one, thought I was being fussy lol.

Hi Sonkie

I was on Lipotrim for 6 months and lost 15 kgs. Just 1 stone left to go now and I've changed over to CD.

Lipotrim is a good diet in this respect. The flavours are not so nice that you feel you want to have just one more. It is a really good way to wean you off carbohydrates and as long as you stick with it, the results will be positive week after week.

The flapjacks are grotesque, but if they were delish like the CD bars, you may want more. I was like a kid in the sweet shop to start with on those bars and I should have had one only. Still, I didn't put weight on.

The chicken soup needs lo-salt and some Piri Piri in it to spice it up. Or tabasco or worcester sauce. Otherwise it is so bland.

You can buy banana flavouring. I got some in an Indian store and Pistachio flavouring, so that is something you could add to the vanilla. Orange essence in the chocolate gives you the nearest thing to those Terry's oranges you will ever taste.

You can add cold coffee to the vanilla which gives you a capucinno.

I've treated the family to a Kenwood smoothie maker and I make my CD "diets" as they're called in that now with ice. I wish I had had that when I was on LT.

It's vital that the Lipotrim is mixed well. Those electric wand mixers are good and space saving, or a shaker cup. I always added ice, because I like them really cold, but this is a personal choice. My CDC likes her shakes warm.

Depending on how much weight you need to lose and what sort of a deficit you have created by starting the Lipotrim programme will be the determining factors on how much weight you will lose from week to week. A 2/3 pound weight loss on average is very good and a lot of people lose 15kg over a 12 week period.

Good Luck on your Liptrim journey. You should only sole-source for 4 weeks at a time unless you are under medical supervision, so take care.

All the best

I am very heavy so that probably why I have lost over 15 kg in five weeks on Lipotrim. Every week my Pharmacist says don't be disappointed if you loose less next week. As for as I am concerned as long as the weight is dropping a loss is a loss.

Tomorrow is my 6 week weigh in.

lipotrim

Hiya. Iv been on lipotrim for 3 days now and apart from feeling a little hungry i'm doing ok. Not tried flapjacks yet but i will next week as i need something to chew on!

Hi there. I am back on lipotrim because after losing 5 stone last yeat I have put 3 back on. I know it was my all my own fault, because after a few months of watching what I was eating I fell off the wagon big time and just ate everything I could get my paws on.

I just just saying that I can always lose it again on the diet, so I may as well just wolf the ice cream down.

I am on day 4 now, and am over the worst of the hunger, so if I can just get over the first weekend I hope to be fine. It is just my head telling me to eat now, not my stomach.

Being a bloke I tend to lose weight vety quickly compared to women, a stone in the first week, and a pound a day after that. Woo Woo.

I really do recommend this diet because it has clear rules to follow, and you are not tempted to cheat. If you do stick to it you will deffo lose weight. And this time I will not go mad when I discover real food again.

All the best

wow Gray well done I know the feeling I keep going to the kitchen then get there and wonder what I went in for, it is just out of habit as you certainly dont feel hungry on this diet

Hi
I started Lipotrim 2 weeks ago and im finding it very hard. The strawberry and chocolate milkshakes made me sick and i cant take tea or coffee without milk. Plus I was really disappointed with my 2nd week weigh in results saying i had nothing but the soup and water all week. I havent cheated yet but this weekend will probably put an end to that.
Ok moan over

Ah Lisa I can so sympathise with you, I love all flavours except vanilla, I cant bear that hot or cold or with coffee in.
Ilove the drinks as long as I use chilled water, sometimes I put ice in too.
I adore the chicken soup, but it has to be as hot as I can possibly stand it.

Good luck and do stick to it as it really does work, im now in wk 9 and have lost 3st 10lbs.

Hi Sonkie, I am still going strong (for the moment). Another 8 pounds lost last week. Woo Woo. I think that because I just ate and ate before starting this diet, I keep remembering that over full feeling over Christmas, and this makes me more determined to keep away from food.

It is really only my head that is saying I need to eat. I have not really felt hungry since day 4 or 5.

I hope to avoid food for another 3 weeks, and then drop down to 2 packs a day, and a piece of chicken for lunch (approx chicken nugget size). This does not sound a lot, but when you have not eaten anything this year I am looking forward to it.

If eating just chicken and the 2 packs keeps me in ketosis and I am still losing weight I will keep on for another couple of weeks. Should be down to 13 stone then, and ALL I have to do is keep it off this time.

If you can avoid the nibbles it does become easier. I only have to feed me and the dog though, so the only temptation in the house for me is a couple of tins of pedegree chum and a dozen squeeky toys. It must be loads harder to keep on the straight and narrow if you have to prepare food for anyone who doesn't bark.

All the best

Gray.
