Just need help with couple of things, On red days I am struggling to find dinners, I have been eating bacon eggs and mushrooms every red day dinner time but getting bored of it a bit, any other good filling options for red days mid days? Im ok with breakfast and tea, plus snacks, just struggle what to make for dinner times on red days, green days i either have pasta or potatoes.

My other question is, On green dinners I like to have pasta with tuna and some mayo and onions, maybe sweetcorn too, but what other slimming world friendly pasta dinner time sauces can I have with my pasta?

I try looking in recipe books but can only bothered with them at tea time, I like to keep dinner simple

How about making up some chilli stew or casserole when you have the time and freezing or fridging it and warming that up for your dinners, im thinking about doing that because yesterday i had an omlette as it was the only red day dinner i could think of and i was starving 2 hours later! i was ok for tea and brekkie like you its just that midday thing of not wanting a huge meal but needing something thatll last 6 hours or so and keep you full

For green days why dont you try veggie based pasta sauces, roast off some veggies and blitz them in the blender (you can have whatevers left for soup if you add some stock) or use tinned tomatos as a base and bung in courgette, carrots etc kinda ratatouille style, or just roast some veggies bung them on the top you can use the juices from the roasting tin to make them wet specially if you add tomatos it goes all lovely and gooey on the bottom of the roasting tin (we fight over this bit in our house!)

Hope this helps

Red day dinners - why not make a quiche with bacon and veg, just mix up some eggs and cottage cheese and pour onto cooked veg, bung in oven for about 15-20 mins until the egg mixture is set. Or I have been taking leftovers from red day evening meals to work such as chicken stew or minced beef hot pot and warming them in the microwave.

this is what i have for my lunch today on a green day - cooked chilled pasta mixed with a tin of mixed beans (not the ones in tomato sauce), chopped fresh tomatoes, chopped yellow pepper. Going to have this with salad, if I can fit it all in!

Hope that helps a little bit.
