I'm starting to get a problem with cravings.

I've been going well so far, food optomising has worked really well for me, and I've found that I would prefer to use my syns on healthy treats like weetabix or something.

However, recently I've been really craving the junk food. Mars bars, chocolate muffins, ice cream, that kind of thing. Fantasizing about stuffing myself with cake.
I don't really know why because I haven't been depriving myself of these things. Last week I split a muffin with my BF, I've had a curly wurly twice cause they're relatively low syn for chocolate. Just last night I weighed out 28g of milkybar moments for 7 syns.

I know I'm allowed to have the "naughty" things. I just think that if I buy a tub of Ben & Jerry's I won't be able to stop. Same with buying cakes and things. And Mars bars are about 14 syns which seems like a waste to me.

I don't wanna slip up and ruin what I've done so far.

try having a drink of highlights or options to get your choc fill.......sachet is only 2 syns.......or make yourself a choc mousse....with low fat natural yogurt mixed with options choc drink, sweetner and geletine.........

that's great advice as a way of getting your chocolate hit, especially if you don't want to waste sins on things like mars bars.

i found that the times i crave sugar and crisps, etc. is when i leave it ages between meals and the best way to combat these is to eat regularly (obviously) and eat slow release carbs. if i eat a big bowl of pasta or have a j.p. with beans it keeps me full for ages and i don't tend to crave anything after that.

try reading up on blood sugar levels/ G.I. foods and how to keep them steady, then you'll find you won't crave crap, especially sugary foods. :)

i find cinnamon tends to help me with sugar cravings
