Didn't know you need to get a GP to sign a form for CD thought was just for Lighter Life!
I'm in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

hi
we have spaces on team soola, we are also a bunch of newbies.
Soolaboola got us together.

How do I join please?

yes, how do we set it up?

You need to get GP consent form signed if you have any health issues such as liver of kidney problems, are diabetic etc and also if your BMI is greater than 40 and mine is sadly 49.8 which makes me super morbidly obese!!!

If anyone does set up a team let me know i'm new to posting but been on cd for 8 weeks and would love the support of a team and healty competion is very motivating x

How depressing!!!
My GP apparently was far to busy to sign my form and I was told to call back towards the end of the week by a very snotty receptionist. How helpful - silly cow!!! some people just don't know how to deal with other people. I understand that working with the public can be quite a difficult and thankless job but I was very polite and I feel as though I have hit a brick wall. I rang back and managed to get an apt for thurs night. My doc is really nice and we get on really well so I know it won't be a problem him signing my form, if anything he will be pleased that I am trying to help myself. I just feel so frustrated and a bit down if I'm being honest.

I think most Drs receptionists (some are ok) go to the same "how to be a snotty nosed cow" school!

Thanks for the comments, woke up this morning feeling much more positive. Had a very early night an I am off to the gym at 6.30am, hence being up at this unearthly hour!!! seeing my GP tonight and CDC so the waiting is over at last.
