I am doing SS but allowing myself a drop of skimmed milk in my tea,Do you reckon it would be OK to have some green veg with my family at dinner time?
I know it won't be the slippery slope as I really want to do this but will it effect my weight loss?

Thanks CDG x

Hiya

If you want to do SS as it is officially designed then the answer is no I am afraid.

If you want to do SS+ then that does give you some vegetables.

Why not call your CDC and ask for his/her advice?

if you want to have skimmed milk and veg hon then do ss+. the losses are the same and you are allowed just that. look in your cd booklet and it will tell you exactly what you are allowed for ss+. it isn't much and the veg is very specific and if you don't stick to the quantities and the veg specified it will knock you out of ketosis and it will effect your weight loss. i'm at work or i'd post the amounts to you myself, ha.

i hope that helps. good luck :)
