Clothes as people get smaller

What does everyone do about this? My clothes are already getting loose as before had started sw had lost a fair bit (the heartbreak diet - not recommended) and my 18 trousers had been wearing to work are falling down. Not quite there for 16s yet but have loads in my wardrobe from last time i was at that weight. And few 14s packed away.

Will deffo be getting rid of 18 trousers once they really are too small as if they are there and i fall off sw at any point, i may be tempted to put them on if 16s get too tight rather than get back on the wagon!!

Thing is, am aiming to get to a size 12 but don't want to be spending a fortune on 16s and 14 clothes on the way down there! But on other hand, don't want to be depriving self of clothes whilst am waiting to be that size!

What has everyone else done about this? Thinking might buy few bits and bobs along the way as will be fair few months before i get to where i want to be.

There is a sticky at the top of the page where people swap clothes as they get slimmer.

For cheap clothes, try Primark, or look in charity shops and boot sales. And of course, there is always Ebay.

Ditto Ebay! I always search using BN or BNWT (brand new with tags). Have had some AMAZING bargains - like a work suit for £8 with tags still intact.....
Be lucky

Cheers, just off to look at ebay, get paid next tuesday and reckon size 16 is imminent - might get my 16s stuff out of wardrobe this aft too and have a bit of a sort out too in preparation - reckon i'll be there in 2 or 3 lbs :)

Yeah, just conscious that trousers falling down lol! and can take my jeans off without undoing them, so maybe should be prepared!

I think I've lost a few pounds this week as my trousers are falling down and tops are loose. Woohoo, out of 22's and into the 20's. I work in an Asda Walmart on a Monday so going to see whats cheap tomorrow. I did buy a jumper online from Dorothy Perkins, they are having a 20% off weekend and if you use the code WELFREE, its free delivery too, so the longline jumper I bought was £5.60!

ooh, thanks for that code :)

Have just cleared out wardrobe of all sorts of stuff - size 12 to 18 - stuff i had when i was smaller and know i won't want to wear even if/when i get there. Stick it all on ebay and if it sells have my eye on some lovely goodies on there!!!
