Does anybody know what 2 litres of water in a plastic bottle weighs?
When I lose a couple of pounds I like to pick something up that weighs the same and I fancy building a pyramid (sad I know lol) of bottles of water that equal the amount I lose each week.
I would love to try to pick up the amount of bottles that equate to 12.5 lbs and see what it feels like!!
What does everybody else use to do this?

I believe (I may be wrong - we are going back to GCSE science here) that 2 litres of water weighs 2 kilos? so 4.4lb? You could always step on the scales with and without the water to check?

Thank you.......
Its a VERY long time since I was at school lol, and I left when I was 14. I hated it, couldn't wait to leave.
Does anybody else like picking up the amount of weight they have lost?
I think that eventually the bottles of water will be a bit bulky lol, so will have to start picking up gold bars (anybody got any spare ones lol) or perhaps might use tubs of margarine or something.
Wonder what eberybody else uses.
I suppose i could go shopping and randomly pick people up as I am walking around lol.

Hiya Bish, not seen you for a bit! you ok?

Yeah fine Lynne - been away for long weekend, so back today and back on the ol' diet wagon again!

I find picking up small children helps - My daughter weighs just under 22lb (I swear it is more because she is bloody heavy to lug around!), and my niece weighs 17 1/2lb, so combined thats nearly 40lb! However as I am now nearly 5stone down (or was pre binge weekend) I am going to start having to find bigger children/small adults to pick up! lol

Its a bloomin scary thought isnt it. To think that I am carrying around with me the equivalent of a bigish sized man. How would I ever be able to carry that if it wasnt attached to me!

i know what you mean wizzbang, my son weighs around 5 1/2 stone, im hoping to lose 6.
i cant lift him for more than a few seconds, but i carry this weight around with me all day every day,
my poor bones, they are going to feel so much better soon.

i think the idea of collecting things to represent your weight loss is a good one, a visual motivator !

Would be lovely if it were gold bars lol.

And bonus would be they wouldnt take up as much room, or as long to get rid of (shop shop shop lol)

I do the child thing too- my 3 year old weighs less than I have lost since having him- when I pick him up I always wonder how I managed before- he is a lump to lug about
