Firming creams!

MorbidBubblewrap

Is thinking positive!
Is anyone on here using these? If so do they work? And which is the best product to buy! I have heard that certain creams can help with the skins elasticity, Is that true? :)

I have just been reading reviews on the Palmers skin products most of them sound promising, Where did you buy yours? Can you get it from boots or somewhere like that? :)

The Palmers stuff is lush, try the firming body lotion, it's recommended for people losing weight.
I got mine in Superdrug.
It smells gorgeous, like vanilla custard.

Hi ya, I started using Olay anti-wrinkle firming night cream about 3 weeks ago, on my neck and face because I started seeing a bit of a turkey neck thing going on. I can honestly say that I have seen a difference, the skin feels taughter and is smoother than before. I didnt use it for a couple of days and there was a noticable crinkle in the throat area, this has since gone.

I will continue to use and hope it carrys on firming the ole neck and chins up.

I also use palmers cocoa butter and that has not got rid of stretch marks completely, however they do not seem to be as noticable. I have been using it for a while now, buy it in the supermarket (morrisons) and I love the cocoa smell as well lol.

Just need to find something for my upper arms and I will be happy.

Has anyone tried the Nivea firming body cream? I was researching this the other night as I'm thinking of giving a firming cream a go on my tummy, chest & buttocks! LOL

I use a mixture of Palmers, Nivea firming cream, Bio oil and St Ives skin tightening cream I am literally covering all my bases on the tightening front lol

Im using all 4 mainly because I got bought all 4 as pressies once i started losing weight I started out with the St Ives one and have to say it was good and have used the nivea one in the past also.

I whack em on 4 times a day a different one each time (once in the loo's at work!!) my skin has gone really really cack since starting and is very dry on my arms n legs so im having to moisturise like crazy to stop me scratching it red raw, i also put Aloe Vera gel on my tummy on the three times i apply the stuff at home as this is good for stretch marks.

Thank Gene Genie

Very helpful info, have you been able to notice a difference in your skins elasticity by using them?xx

I use claris body firming cream in a pot, its about 26 quid, but i love it, my tummy has toned up great with it.

I also use avon's bust firming cream and aldi bust cream - they both work well, although aldi is half the price and twice the size and smells gorgeous!

i may try the palmers going on the blurb on here, but i'm scared it will make me want to eat ice cream!!

Wow, an Aldi one? Never been in there but I will go and get some! Thanks you very much!xxx

yeah their creams are quite good, called lacura, the bust one is in a large round pot, white box, red pot. about 3-4 quid! :D

I must try that its for nothing

YES! Been using this for a while now and it seems to be doing the work, my arms and tummy are looking abit firmer. I use it all over my body, it costs a bit though as the little bottle just lasts me a week and it's around £4.99 for 200ml and £8.13 for the 400ml.

I was in Boots on Wednesday and was torn between the Palmers Firming Lotion and the normal Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula. Chose the latter as I decided that there's actually hardly anything wrong with my skin atm excepting ugly stretch marks but there's nowt that can be done to get rid of them anyways. (They're not red, they're silver) Figured I could buy the firming one in a month or two.

ANYWAY, omg how yummy does it smell? I was sat watching the TV with the other half and slathering it all over myself and kept lifting my arm to my nose to have a good ole sniff! He thought I was mad lol. It's so good too, I have quite dry skin on my legs and am already noticing a difference.

Thats great Zpacey, thank you for that!

Rainbow thats brilliant info, thank you very much!
