Day 1 back and determined!

Hey all, I haven't been on minis since July and in that time I've been unwell several times and pretty much eaten what ever, resulting in putting on almost 1st! Pretty scary when your new clothes are very tight and uncomfortable so decided today is the day to get back to it :) I managed to get down to 10st 1lb (1lb away from original goal) but am setting myself a new target of 9st 7lb.

Just been reading a few posts and miss the excitement of each weeks weight loss lol, looking forward to that again.

If anyone is in a similar situation to me I would love to hear your story :) Oh should get a new ticker huh, well I'm getting weighed tomorrow so will start it from then as my scales are slightly different from cdc.
 
Know exactly how you feel. Didn't get as close as you to goal but was feeling pretty good about myself. Absolutely hate it that my new clothes are tight. Day three for me and cruising at the moment.

Hey Julie, cheers for replying :) Had first WI today and actually was 3lb less than what I thought so have 17lb to go to get to 9st 7lb goal. So far so good today, tried the porridge this morning and got used to the taste after a couple of spoonfulls. Managed 3ltrs of fluid yesterday so not bad, going to aim for that each day. Evenings are the worst for me so just need to keep the determination going! Are you in ketosis yet?
 
Yes, was in ketosis yesterday (day 3). All going well today. The evenings are worse for me too but I am tryingt o find things to do to keep me occupied - then early nights!

Hi fellow Fifer! I've gone over to restarters to try and get myself motivated again. I'm only (!) 20lbs off my target and off on holiday in the October hols so 25 days to go. Gosh thats a lb a day dont think that will be achievable but i'm determined to have a go at it.

I dont understand why it is so hard the 2nd time round! I was so good at it before- what is the secret the 2nd time round? I wish you all good luck! I seem to be starting everyday, and end up just binging all day! Wish me luck I'm starting tomorrow 2!

Molly: where in Fife are you? I'm 17lb away from goal but really can't afford it, desperate tho :) What is your target weight?

Sunny: I am the same! I'm on day 6 and still not managed a proper day of cd! Also it's time of the month so I don't appear to be losing much, looks like a measly 1lb so far!! You know this happened when I first started I had a period in my first week argh! Anyway, today I am totally determined to do a full day cd, 3 shakes and 3 ltrs of fluid. Can't afford to be doing this diet atall let alone for weeks on end cos I'm messing around with it.

I'm up in Cupar. Like you i can't afford it to muck about anymore. Its too expensive to be playing at this. I cant do SS+, I have to be all or nothing. First time round i went on a Tuesday to start on the Wed and as soon as i got home from meeting i started straight away. Kept on the straight and narrow for 12 weeks no problem. But now, this is sooo hard to get into again.

Hey Molly, I'm over in Falkland so just a stones throw away lol. Yeah I'm the same it has to be all or nothing with me, if I'm allowed anything to eat it triggers me to snack on other things, however I can only afford 2 packs a day for the time being, just taking it a day at a time really, 15lb to go and counting, but if I only lose 2lb each week then it's going to take me ages to get to goal! Day at a time, day at a time.... lol have to stop worrying about it as I'm sure it's not helping.

Hope your doing ok today, oohhhh just think of your holiday, that's motivation eh! :)
