EXERCISE ANYONE??

TRIVENAM

Getting there!!!
HI GUYS..AS YOU CAN SEE I DID TERRIBLE LAST WEEK AT MY WI:cry:

I WANT TO AIM FOR 5-6 POUNDS PER WEEK FROM NOW ON...

SHOULD I DO MY AEROBICS 5 TIMES A WEEK AGAIN...I JUST DONT KNOW HOW SAFE IT IS TO EXERCISE ON A VLCD!!! ANY HELP IS GREAT!!:D

With exercise on LT youv just got to be careful. Listen to your body and dont over do it. Also with exercise remember that you will be building muscle and muscles are heavier than fat

you can excercise as much as you like but listen to your body, if its to much stop just dont overdo it

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, enjoy it and have no problems whatsoever. The only thing I would be cautious about is anything that might enduce a dizzy spell, like sitting/standing up quickly etc. Personally I find exercise a very important part of my weight-loss regime, not only in helping lose weight, but in helping to tone and avoid the dreaded saggy skin problems!!

I nearly blacked out when on a treadmill...not good. Coz your body doesn't have any stored sugar to draw on for energy bursts, you will get knackered quicker then if you were on a 'normal' diet. Like the guys have said, listen to your body and don't do too much.

I think it's a case of trying different kinds of exercise and seeing how your body responds to it. If cardiovascular exercise makes you feel dizzy or tired very easily then try something like yoga, or walking.

Personally i use the treadmill, strider, do sit-ups and bits of yoga. (not all in the same day i hasten to add). I just do whatever i feel like doing on different days xx

I do weights, swim & a leeeel bit of running... I did find that if I only had my lunch shake & went after work I went a bit giddy... I suppose saunas & steamrooms don't help that doh....

Now if I'm going after work I have a shake about 4ish :)

But yeah deffo listen to your body :)

Hi Trivenam, sound advice given above. I'd like to add that it may not be realistic to aim for 5 to 6lb weight loss per week on LT. LT promises approx. 1 stone weight loss per month which comes to roughly 3 to 3.5lbs per week. Some weeks the wieght loss might be more than others but what it important is the monthly totals. You lost that much in your first couple of weeks (as most of us did) because most of it was water loss. Still, 3lb loss per week is great and LT does deliver!

1lb is still a good loss. I've had a couple of low weeks and was told sometimes your body needs to catch up with the weight loss and most people find their loss increases the next week.

As for exercise, build it up slowly as, on so few calories, you don't want to make yourself poorly. I do a lot of walking but plan to get back to the fitness videos once all my children are back at school, one down, 2 more to go!!!!!!
