How long did you do SS for or can you do it for?

My cdc says its now 12 weeks... in a row..

just wondering.

Yes, that's right. You can SS for 12 weeks in a row assuming your BMI is high enough.

On week 13 you need to do 810 :)

so If I ss.. for 7 weeks and take a two week break for a holiday I can start again and do 12 weeks?

The week after I do the 810 at the end of 12 weeks will I get that horrible crappy feeling like when I first started SS.

Yes. Assuming that you are eating over 810 during your break.

Probably not. There's a good chance that you will stay in ketosis whilst on 810. If you do slip out, it'll soon kick back in when you SS or SS+ again as long as you measure and keep as per the book

Thanks KD, I've got a way to go yet to get to week 13, but I just thought I'd ask.

Thanks KD, I imagine I will be eating over 810.. the resort has an ice cream parlour.. and having that on my pallet is getting me through the next six weeks lol

Now when you get to florida , you can eat so much , i loved going into dennys for breakfast . you need a strong will going there hehe where are you staying ?

I loved Denny's! the sandwiches.. OMG, I couldn't finish it so I took it back to the villa and had it the next day for breakfast.

And I wonder why I'm doing CD lol

Hey stinkabell! Sounds yummy! I am in the same situation as you - after nearly 7 weeks of SS I am going on holiday - can't believe it's come around so quickly, it's on Tuesday! So will have my break off CD then there is actually 12 weeks till my first christmas party, so will be off SS then too - what good timing! But once I get to the new year I will have to have official breaks (810) on week 13 as have no other planned breaks of the diet. Mind you that's probably a good thing! x

Firstly, I'm Dutch. Just thought I'd add that before any misunderstandings occur.

I ss'd for 3 weeks had AAM in the 4th because my CDC STRONGLY(!) advised it ^.^ It was kinda disappointing though hahah.

I could've gone longer without food, but she insisted I have an AAM after the 3rd week the first time.. I'm a good girl so I listened. :) Now I can do it 6 weeks with no food, CDC is okay with that.
