Hi All,

Not been on here for six weeks, lost my mum to lung cancer. It was a shock, we were told she would have 2-5 years but her lung collasped and she got an infection and passed away very quickly three months after diagnosis.

I am going away on Tuesday with the family. After this week I will be back on the TRIM. I must admit I have not put any weight back on and I am 10st on my scales.

Please wish me luck after this week. I think it will be a much harder first week. Trying to get back on track.

Chaddy xx

I'm so sorry for you, what a terrible thing.

Can I just say something that might cause uproar on here... please take care of yourself and be very careful. A bereavement can do very strange things to your health.

I thought I was coping when I lost someone close to me, but I had a string of ailments - started with a chest infection which turned to pleurisy, then a kidney infection and then I woke up one morning covered in a rash which turned out to be psoriasis. The doctor said that due to the shock of the bereavement my immune system was shot at, and it took me about 3 months to get better.

Just take good care of yourself is what I'm saying, treat your body with extreme care, because even though your head might be in the right place, your body might not have quite caught up yet.

All good wishes, Zayna xx

OMG Chaddy, you have been through the mill lately!

I hope your little lad wins his battle.
