Quick update!

Flopster

Got a life thank you!
I am trying hard to stick to the resolution I made at the time management course a few weeks ago which is to regain some of "me" time by spending less time on the forums and I therefore haven't updated in a while.

I am four weeks into the route to management now, it has been a bit up and down, lots of "good" days a few "bad" (yesterday was a really bad one, today hopefully so far has been quite good).

I have now lost four stone exactly, I love where I am at - it isn't too thin or too fat. I would like to lose another half stone so that I have half a stone in my comfort zone.

Today I am wearing black leggings and a mini skirt with a big thick knit jumper - something that would have been impossible just six months ago. The skirt is a size 14 but it is MASSIVE on me, I really need to get some confidence and go try on a size 12 now.

I'm not saying management is easy - far from it - but if there is an important time to stick with the lighter life programme it is at this stage, the group support and the support from the counsellor reinforcing everything you have learnt during foundation really is key to this. The CDs are very powerful tools as well and nothing like the crap DVDs they show in class.

Good luck everyone in your continued journeys, I do read occasionally to try to keep up with how everyone is doing.

glad you are doing well. 4 stone....well done you. what a brilliant diet this is, it just wouldnt be possible without the toolbox and the support.

huge hugs

Shona

Hope youre day is better than yesterday and that you get purchasing a SIZE 12 MRS....bet you look fab in your outfit...you go girl! Im off to Trafford centre tonight and if i get a size 14 I'll be happy enough ..a SIZE 12 would be jumping for joy material!x:)

Hi Shona

I couldn't agree more, the difference for me personally has been the LL toolbox and support, I know I wouldn't have got anywhere without it!

I am sure you MUST be a size 12 or even a 10, you were way slimmer than me. Hope you get something lush to wear! Got your email, just not had time to answer yet, been in three meetings so far today, done a telephone interview and now I have to go home, get changed and go off for my first Christmas do with the bank (urgh).

Catch you soon.

Wow that is great news, you have done so well, congratulation. I have lost 3 stone with LL and have 4 weeks to go now so hope to lose another stone. However I need to go on to development.

I am impressed with what I learn on LL. I was a bit sceptical thinking what on earth could I learn or worse still were they looking for skeletons in the cupboard etc. But its all so useful to help me control my feelings around food. Wouldn't like to do abstinence /ss without these skills !

I love the LL programme, I have learnt so much about myself, my eating habits and more than anything else the biggest lesson has been about crooked thinking.

I have good days and bad days but then in every aspect of life you have good and bad days. Now I am learning how to cope with the bad and use the good to keep me motivated and going.

Good luck with development.

Yes crooked thinking is an excellent thing to get your head round isn't it ? I am quite into thought records at the moment as they stop and make me think what I am doing - or should I say what I would have done in response to stress, anger etc.

Am sure that last half stone will go and its size 12's for you ! Good luck, melissa

Hi Flopster would you mind telling me what your BMI was when you started Management??
Thanks Hun

Hiya

It was 30.7 so still obese but I always said I just wanted to be a size 14 so was quite happy at that weight to go into Management - I was 163 lbs. I'm now 156 lbs.

I bought my first ever size 12 jeans today - quite an achievement!

I've never really been into thought records, too much of a time drain at the moment but I know it is a very useful tool.
