Thank you, and you, and you!

Love God; Love People
Thank you all so very much. I have decided (seems like a spur of the moment decision, but not really) to stop TFR today and go onto the refeed and maintainance.

Gotta say it's been a wonderful journey and I really couldn't have done it without the solid support of all of you my fellow lipotrimmers on this site.
Thru the carb withdrawals
to the headaches
and into ketosis...
Thru the stage of realising that food is everywhere I turn
and feeling deprived
to the exhilirating stages of unbelievable weight-loss
and my regular clothes starting to look ridiculously big on me....
Thru the stage of feeling comfortable and not tempted by the most delioius of dishes...
Thru the stage of getting interested in exercise
Thru the stage of getting into a healthy BMI
Thru the stage of thinking 'My, I look real good..!'
Thru the stage of realising that this healthy change is for life and not just for a season...
You have been here with me thru it all.

I really appreciate all the responses to my posts, reading your stories too, laughing at the silly things we share sometimes(!), the fun and the joys of success, getting inspired by how well you're all doing and inspired to keep on.

I sincerely could not have done it without you all.

My stopping TFR does seem like a spur of the moment decision, particularly when you look at my ticker but I realised I had met my goal to get to a healthy BMI and to size 12.
My start dress size =16-18, now comfy 12
Start BMI =29.5, now 23.5
Start stats:
Bust 42, now 36
Waist 37, now 31
Hips 46, now 40

I just realised I will most likely still lose weight on the refeed and the maintainance; and moreso since I have started lots of exercise. (Spinning is brilliant, try it! Totally tone is excellent for the whole body, and my latest discovery ZUMBA aerobics is out of this world!, all in addition to cycling).

I'd better stop now. Once again thanks for giving such great support. I will definitely still be around on the forum -here and doing a refeed thread too.

God bless you guys!
Heartfelt,
Trimlee

Hey Nic, you are one of my chief motivating officers (and Julz). I read all your threads on exercise and got all fired up! Took a while for me to get moving but now I'm loving it! Spinning is defintely crazy but I need it cos I started out not being able to cycle up so much as a whiff of a slope -ha! I like imagining I'm some kinda (fraction of a)bionic woman on the cylce. (OK still trying hard to cycle up the road back home but gwtting there gradually!) Thanks Nic, it's been a pleasure taking this LT trip with you. Well done girl:)

Good luck to you on refeed and maintenance. You have done so well that I know you will reach your target.

Thanks cuddlyfairy, you're doing great yourself. You've always encouraged us all, and soon you'll be celebrating at your goal too :D. I'll be around!

Well done on your great loss its an inspiration best of luck with the refeed and let us know how you get on.

Thanks Nicola F. Will keep you all posted. You can do it!;)

well done! good luck, and enjoy your new body and new found lease of life!

I am hoping to get the weight lifting bug again - but have to see if my disability improves first.

dont worry about something seeming like a spur of the moment to someone else, as long as you are happy and comfy with where you are, that is the main thing. I am refeeding about half a stone before target as i want the sense of control of losing a little on maintenance, to prove to myself that i can manage food and it not manage me.

let us know how you get on and how you are feeling.

xx H

aww what a lovely thread, wishing you lots of luck with refeed and maintainance and well done on your weight loss x

Hi Ms Blonde, thanks! I know what you mean about wanting the sense of control on the maintenance; this is exactly what's beem going thru my mind. I half expected to wake up with a great big tummy this morning after my first refed meal last night! Had the maintainance chocolate whip this morning. Unbelievably it felt like it was not right for me to have it! It seemed like an indulgence -it was very creamy and kinda like a dessert mousse. I felt like I was eating something fatty and calorific.
I really think LT has not only helped us lose weight but also changed our attitudes and our taste buds. There's no way we could ever go back to mindless eating again. In fact, I used to think "yeah right I'll start using skimmed milk after LT, it tastes so watery..., hmmph!" But guess what, it tastes rich now -really!

I pray your health improves and that you don't have restrictions on your exercise schedules any more. Well done on your achievement so far!
