i have to say i cant believe this article truly. i myself have tried cutting out starchy carbs completley and i did lose weight quickly and spots cleared up, BUT....... after 3wks i hit a plateau in my weight and i felt quite tired and weak.
The problem with starchy carbs is that people these days dont control there portions, and are not properly informed about how much carbs they should eat a day, based on there height, frame, age etc.
I am currently using the diabetic diet so i can count my carbs appropriately, when diabetic people stick to their diets properly, they are in great health, glowing skin, low body fat, nice and slim, (not stick insect thin though) and they are generally very very healthy.
i didnt agree in the article about diabetic people cutting the carbs and it benefiting them, because not only do starchy carbs have sugar in them. Fruits, and some vegetables have natural sugar in them, and for a diabetic to eat this, they need to have there daily insulin intake to stop the sugar raising there blood pressure too quickly.
i could go on for pages among pages about this, but dont worry, im not going to. lol.
just wanted to state that everyone is different, and everybodys bodies have different needs, some people can eat carbs galore and be fit and healthy, yet others really suffer from them. It differs from person to person.
