Hey guys, I really need your help!!

I did CD last year from July until Christmas with no problems and lost 5 stone. I came off the diet at Christmas and couldn't really get back into it until a few weeks ago - started off really well and was back in the zone but.....

over the past week I've really struggled to the point where today I can't face the thought of having any packs or bars or even having a drink of water! I've been in tears because I know that doing Cambridge is the only way that I'll get the rest of my weight off but I just can't face it...

Has anyone else been in this position or can anyone help me with this? Really don't know how to proceed

hey you...sorry to hear that you're really strugglin....:( is it just the thought of the packs ?? or do you feel unwell ??

Cambridge isn't the only option....what about WW ? or SW ??

on CD, the first time really is the 'golden' time...and it is so so hard to get back on track with it (for most people)....

Just the thought of the packs today hun - can't handle it at all and don't know what to do. Tried WW before and at the time it didn't work for me - couldn't get into the points system which is why CD worked so well, knew what I was allowed - nothing lol!

Ah well, will get today over with and see how I go tomorrow - hopefully it'll be better xx

just write today off hun and start again tomoz -its another day!!
8lbs is good so far, and after theamount you lost last time, you know you can do it again!!
be positive and start again tomorrow.
good luck, keep smiling about how much slimmer you WILL be, and let us know how you do. xx

Hi :)

Sorry to read you're having a tough time.

Can I ask?, has anything happened very recently that may have thrown you off course today hun? An upsetting situation?

If not, then, a good nights sleep can work WONDERS and you may very likely wake up feeling very much better than you do now.:D

Love and best wishes and keep posting for support if you find you can't sleep ok?

Lacey..xx:)

mot sure what to advise....except maybe to put today behind you and start afresh tomorrow......

you know where I am if you need me !

Hi hun

Sorry to hear you are feeling so low. How about maybe starting at a higher plan and when you feel ready working back down to SS rather than going "cold turkey".

Sending loadsa hugs

Hi hun, i'm sorry to hear that you're having a tough time with the diet. I also managed to lose weight with CD last year but its been so difficult to get back on.

I have also been feeling so fed up with the diet. I feel fed up with having to drink all the water, with living off choclate flavours because thats all i can stomach, with waking up everyday and saying i will be 100% today, with not being about to go to parties, weddings, or socialise much.

But what gets me through is knowing that if i stick to it i will lose this weight that is making me so unhappy and i will be so much more confident when i go back to uni and when i'm on placement. I'm also so keen to get back into exercising, especially swimming but i would feel so self concious going swimming with how i look now.

Have you tried writing a list of all the reasons why you want to do the diet. Or maybe even try on some clothes that used to fit but are abit snug now (that has caused me many tears before but it works).

Maybe you're just having one of them days where you feel low and fed up with the world. I say stick with the diet for the next few days and see if you feel better.

I hope you're feeling better now and you have a good nights rest.

xx :)

hey Trudz - how you feeling today hun ?

hope you had a good night's sleep and are feeling more positive today :)

love

Debz xx

You did SO well first time around - did you post threads back then? If so, try re-reading some of them to try regain the highs you must have felt at such an incredible weight loss. You want this so badly that I'm sure you'll wake up one day and your head will have caught up with your heart and you can say "RIGHT - just do it". Good luck :)

how you feeling hun??
any better?? xx

Had long talk with hubby about this last night and he says he hates to see me so upset and struggling so much... outcome of our conversation was that he feels I could lose (even if its at a slower rate) through eating healthily and picking up the exercise.

I've phoned our local gym today and have booked induction session next Saturday (first they could take me due to me working full time). However, today I feel like I've failed - my aim was to be at goal for Christmas and I know there's no way I'll do that without doing Cambridge so disappointed about that. Haven't completely decided to come off CD, still have a lot of packs and bars here so may do something similar to 1000 plan, having 2 packs a day and a healthy meal - if I can face the packs which once again today I haven't! My view is that I'll still be taking in less calories than I used to and if i can pick up the exercise, hopefully I'll burn it off too... here's hoping!

You poor thing. Thing is, even with the Healthy eating and the exercise you will definitely lose weight. Ok, you may not be at your target by Christmas, but you will be very close to it. How about slimming world? It's a really good diet and if you've not done it before, maybe it will be good to give it a go? The main thing is your sanity, so if changing plans is what will help, then you've got to do it. Good luck with whatever you choose to do xx
