Hello all
I have decided to get my bike out (bought it 3 years ago and never been on it!)
And now is a good a time as any to try it out. I intend to ride to my friends house, which I recon is about 3 miles away, in the rain, and if I make it there (and back tomorrow morning) I will be one proud bunny lol

Trish whereabouts in Hampshire are you? I'm in the north and it hasn't stopped raining here all day!!!!

I need a new bike then I can try and keep up with the children. My poor old one is a bit knackered!

Ride safely and enjoy yourself.

Good luck and enjoy the ride ;)

Gave my bike away - was too fat to ride it:( Hope you have had a nice day on yours and it didn't rain too much :D

Umm, just an update on the bike ride....
I fell off (after being on it for 2 mins), grazed my knee, hurt my foot, hurt my ego more, kicked the bike, then tripped over it and dragged it back home in the pouring rain (the injuries were not from falling off the bike btw, but the tripping over it and kicking it lol).

Sorry to hear about your experience Trish. Hope you feel better today.

Mille and I are also in Basingstoke, which chemist do you go to?

Finally got on my bike yesterday. Did 15 to 20 mins but had to push bike home as couldn't ride up the slight slope home. Tried again this a.m and managed a third of it. Hope to conquer it by this weekend!
