What do you do?

I usually see my CDC on a monday, he comes to me and that is the only day he is in the area.

I am not going to be able to see him this week (I work in a theatre some evenings and monday is our opening night, ooh, exciting!) and then I am off on hols on Wednesday for a week and a half.

I didn't really want to do CD on hols anyway, but I don't want to go crazy and pig out either, so I'm not sure what to do.

Does anyone try calorie counting when on holiday? I'm going to continue not drinking (empty calories, empty calories) but any other advice would be very welcome.

Thanks guys

I think it all depends on the type of hol really - for instance, in just over 4 weeks, I am going abroad to Turkey, but it's all inclusive and as I have paid for that, I won't be doing CD while I am away, but will do it up until the day I go and then back on the day I come home. However, if I was self catering, I'd either do CD or just have a healthy eating week, not going overboard with the drinks, etc.

Good luck, whatever you decide x

I didnt worry about dieting while I was away but I didnt do the usual 3 huge meals a day, I just try to make healthy choices in the meals I had and didnt stuff myself. I did drink while away, but nothing mad, just wine with evening meal and the odd cocktail. I put up a half a stone over 3 weeks which I have managed to shift already :)

I'd say dont organise your holiday around calories, just try to make healthy choices while your away, and have fruit for breakfast and a light lunch and keep drinking the water.

Enjoy the holiday
